Thank you Dawgfunk! They are all extremely frosty as hell.. Once I get closer to harvest I will bring them out into good light and get a good bud porn album together. You should see the Corey, all I can say is wow... Beautiful plant.

There is some great photos to come. Been busy prepping outdoor plots lately and getting all the guerilla biz in order for the spring, so I haven't had a whole lot of time to spend on the forums.

Thank you much GGja... I love positive feedback and also the negative, too. I learned long ago that you need the combination of both positive and negative to really learn something inside and out.

I am pleased with the turnout. Going from that poor ole beat to hell cellar to this beautiful room full of potent flowers, from almost dead clones to super healthy bushes, had a lot of problems starting out. Have minimum duct work right now, 6 inch trying to push through 4 1000's, with fans not up to size, so high temps has sort of been a problem lately causing me to have to dim my lights from time to time. Humidity however has been in check. Not bad for a first run with new strains, not a thing dialed in ya know? Running basic promix with Advanced line. Nothing at all fancy about it, but it is doing what I so intended for it to do and I am very thankful and proud of what I got. And I love those girls, each and everyone and put lots of effort into them, treating them seperately.

I have huge upgrades coming next run. Gonna throw in Co2, switch to coco, install a minisplit, switch ducting over to 8 or 10 inch. Upgrade to DE, CMH, a combo of both. I am going to have a custom built building built into the front of the cellar actually connecting to the door and then the cellar is virtually invisible. This room will co join and become one grow op, split into 2 flower rooms... The one I am currently running and also another larger flower room. Total I will be running around 10 to 12 lights and the new room in the building will have 10 ft ceilings, 8 minimum.

My current veg room is pretty nice right now, probably keep it as a veg room as it is and create a mother and father room as well. Gonna have the whole works once this is said and done.

And man I tell ya... That 413 Chem is such a good cut, my gord is fried right now. Very deep yet uplifting long lasting stone. I would love to get this shit tested if I knew what to do... How to do it. It is so white you cannot see the green in the bud. Amazing!

Well I got a late start this morning and ended up sitting in the room checking trichs when the timer clunked again. So I had to snap a few more pics. I might cut down one 413 Chem once lights come back on. I took a few tester buds a couple of days ago and shared with friends, the wife and myself of course and they were blown away... This stuff is super potent and what I love about those Chem highs is that they relate closely to the energized bunny... It keeps goin' and goin' and goin'.... You can definitely tell the THC is at its peak. Had 100% milky trichs this morning during inspection.

The Mystery Chem (M91) has huge colas, fat and heavy... That's the one in the front most area of the pic...

This is kinda random, but since I am thinking about it, if y'all have any free time on your hands check out Duke Diamonds Pot Cast on YouTube (not the Adam Dunn one, but the other). Definitely eye opening, the dude is from VA and he is likely one of the most intelligent breeders I have ever listened to. Very good interview and the guy knows his shit... Interview is kinda long but well worth the listen.

Howdy Polarstar! Thank you for stopping by my thread and putting the time in to read through it my friend. Congrats on your first post as well! Makes me feel special that your very first post was in my thread brother... Haha.

I do take what I do very seriously... This is my life, been at it now for almost over 16 years and will never look back man. Just can't wait to get this room dialed in and updated. Again, thanks a lot for enjoying my thread!

Ive heard that corey cut’s the fire...never had the chance to smoke it but there may come a day! Just like i thought id never smoke the original ssh, thar she blows, matey! Mad props to all the 3lb a light dudes, but I’ve never had the best mind about coco...always feel like there’s something lacking. Even tho less problems, more weight, there’s something to the smoke that just isnt there. My own 2 cents, tho...i’ve been spoiled smokin some dank from amazing soil mixes and no till, just can’t beat it. I will say, though, i am currently smokin on a buddy’s bear og that looked too good not to pass down and he did a stellar job on it, but grown in coco...some nuggs u can tell more than others but all in all stellar smoke. That being said, it’s lile froot loops without the milk, namsayin!

I will likely run tests before I completely convert to coco.. I have been growing in promix for longer than I can possibly remember and I just have my feel for it ya know? I might stick with promix in the end, the next few runs in the next couple years, I am going to be experimenting with new things, just random things, things even unheard of and document it all and just keep learning ya know? For almost 16 years now I've been growing the ganja, and I have grown tons... It never ever gets old, its just I have come to a point to where I felt like there is nothibg left to learn... That changed fast and I am experimenting with all kinds of shit from breeding, training methods, feedings, feeding things that's not even heard of being fed to cannabis or plants in general, just EVERYTHING man... Ya know, one of the best quotes I ever heard lately is the one in my signature. You have to keep learning and going. You never just come to a point to where you know your a "master grower" because no one is, those that are will never excel and be open to new knowledge and ideas... They will be hung up in a point to what and where they believe is the limit, when there really is no limit... I will learn till the day I die or till I am just incapable of learning anymore due to health or trauma or whatever...

But yeah man I hear you on the taste. Soil will always beat hydro, dro, whatever people call the shit lol. Chemdog and SkunkVA both say the best Chemdog they have had, not only taste bit potency as well was from their organic soil runs. I have a buddy that grows hydro and don't get me wrong, he gets big yields, no different than mine really, nothing noticeable anyway. But, his weed is just blah... The taste is not there, the potency is okay but very short lived... It is starting to become a well known fact that just because a strain is incredibly frosty or high in thc really does not determine the high. Just because someone is pushing hydro really really hard and getting these insanely frosty buds, that doesn't really mean anything more than "bag appeal". Which is okay if your just after the dollar. But it is be coming well known now that terps and flavonoids and a unique combination of all the above, is what is responsible for that knock out super stone.

Just like Duke was talking about in his interview and a lot of really good breeders, not just duke but these strains like GSC yeah, they taste great, but the high is just decent.. Yet the thc content is outrageous. But you fire up an old 88 hashplant or classic afghani or even chemdog, even though testing lower in thc, will straight up fuck you up... Way more so than that frosty tastey gsc ever would. And guess what makes the best aromas, terps, tastes, flavinoids, etc.... Organic and soil based grows... Always.

There is a difference in a connoisseur and a commercial grower. I am both, I love LOTS of weed but I also love having the stinkiest, most potent, tastiest, most sought after bud in my area... I put my heart into it. Its just simply not all about making that dollar, it is to most growers, but not me. As long as I am supporting my family and my kids and living comfortably that is all I need... Its a way of living and what I love to live and live to love. My wife knows my relationship with my plants and that I talk to them and spend a few hours each night in the room with them and she respects that ya know... A lot of people would call it crazy, even a lot of growers, but hey that's just a flat out cash cropper for ya that thinks that way... They don't have what it takes to feel the bond between them and the plant. They just care about that $$$.

Here's a little 413 Chem bud porn from some lower branch testers I cut off a few days ago and a quick dry was performed. The results are outstanding and the bud could not be anymore potent than what it is.Bag appeal A++ and the odor reeks of beneath an old musky cabinet where the pinesol, Lysol, bleach and ammonia is stored...

I am not allowed to say his name straight out so I will hint, his name rhymes with "Hannie".. Been talking back and forth with him for a year now and he dropped the news time a month ago that Sugar Punch will be released in, well, a month lol
So any day now. He already reserved me 4 packs so I own 4 lol. Gonna order 10 total and really search this line out. I have grown multiple packs out in the past and SO is a incredible strain. Never found a pheno that I didn't wanna keep around.

There are 2 phenos specifically that I am searching for that I lost a couple years ago unfortunately... One of them is super rare and I have only heard of three people, me included in those 3 finding it. It is a pheno very suitable for indoors and growing perpetually as it finishes in only 45 days... Super frosty, purple hues and sugar leaves and has a very deep creative dreamy high... it like a straight up narcotic Super Silver Haze. Never ran her outdoor though so can't speak of outdoor with that one.

The cut I ran outdoor finished in middle of October, had hints of purple and was very SSH dominant. Very uplifting and dreamy. Everyone that tried it commented these very words... "Man this stuff feels different than most bud, I feel like I'm floating". A slightly sweet skunky, grape berry yet very hazey smoke. Too much would easily cause a panic attack. I never smoked a joint of her that didn't have tar literally dripping out the end of a J by time you got to half the joint.

Y'all keep an eye out. I know this will be new stock of his after his pest problem and bust, but I'm hoping it will be the same sugar punch it used to be.

Damn. I'd give anything if "Hannie" sold this strain in regs... Silver Fields is close but just doesn't match SP.
