Motherplant which strain.

Hi im new to growing, and im thinking of starting a new motherplant.

Any expert advice on what strain to pick. Im for taste, but also yield!.

Considering the talk about massive hermi rate and very high male rate in Rez's packs I would avoid it as a first pack.

My next pack would probably be Bogglegum by BOG.
But I got a pack of Jilly Bean by subcool that should be pretty good as well.
I got a Jack The Ripper flowering too. (by subcool)
And a few others.

There are a lot of good strains around.

The thing is I really prefer taste, then secondary yield and last potency..

Edit: And it is for my first motherplant.. So would be nice if was an easy to grow strain..

I went with a sensi skunk for now..

its nice with low plants, that flower quick.. especially if you grow indoors and in a tent as I does.. Skunk #1 is nice for this.. only 40-45 days of flwr!..

Anyone tried any of these

I never saw any plant actually finish in 40 days. Don't count on that.

Start growing and you'll know where to aim next.

Mandala strains are rather forgiving. That's what I used to learn the inside growing aspect. Plus Mike and Jasmine's advice on how to grow their strains is just about dead-on.

agreed. I've seen some pics/grows on here from a random bag seed that would put the seeds from the seedbanks to shame.

If you want a nice plant that has good flavor, a nice buzz and a good yield you can't go wrong with Mr. Nice Shit.

Shit is a fast finisher, I have had a fully ripe plant at 48 days with this strain but usually averages about 50-55 days(gives a nice balanced head-longer more couchlock).

It is an almost foolproof strain for new growers, but is a good quality smoke. Shanti don't put out no trash.
And it is an inexpensive one as well, so you don't need to spend a fortune to have good smoke.

Once you get some experince, then take a look at some of the hybrids being offered on the 'bay-some wonderful flavorful stuff available for very good prices.

Good luck with whatever you pick, learn as you go along, don't stress over every little thing, and have some fun damnit.

I went with my Sensi Skunk, got two beautyfull plants going waiting for preflowers or clone test.

I went and got some Sensi star/Skunk # 1 X Papaya and some Duck foot X Low Snow..
