Hi, a big fan of Ace Seeds, just from what I have seen on the internet. Decided to get some seeds for sure, I am thinking Panama and Golden Tiger, but I would really like to know which Ace strain is the most Citrus/Fruity/Sweet tasting and smelling.

i think zamal phenos are the most fruity sweety but after some curing for me cause its my teprene profile that i love - sweet carrot . then with strong oldschool citrus/woody fragnances try GT and MALAWI. malawi have cdifferent phenos you can find here very citrus, than very sweet and than more earthy individuals. you must little bit find. Bangi Haze is also very good, but more spicy aniised taste come from congo, very special but not so sweet and fruity. panama have also very special coctail taste sweet citrus with other tones, actually to 2/3 flowering panama was the best smelling plant in room

the green pheno of panama I have smelled exatcly like coca cola when it was still growing. so sweet with citrus background. the other two plants smelled similar, also very sweet but more on fruity side. all phenos turned more lemony after being dried but still kept the sweet tones.

golden tiger malawi pheno smelled exactly what smallgardener describes. citrus/woody/earthy. I was amazed with the quality of the smell after being dried. oldschool just like weed should smell.

both are superb. while panama is so aromatic and strong smelling, GT compensates a little less strong smell with classical elegance.

Seems like I was heading in the right direction with Panama, and you opened my eyes up to the Malawi a little better =). But a new curiosity is brought up, will GT have any hint of pine aroma to it? Not sure if its the Haze taste I am thinking of but I have some Blue Dream right now that is straight pine tree smelling and im not too sure I can say I like it... Though I do love the effects!

I would have to say, from the Ace strains I have tried, the terpenes are all pretty interesting and complex, hard to just call it sweet or fruity when there is so much more going on there. Usually two or three different distinct aromas can be identified that compliment each other beautifully.

In the experience i have with panama, the pheno that smell coca cola (it's very bluffing) are red pheno. Green pheno smells lemon with a bit of spicy. In this sense, they are more "commercial" strain as they are sour/fruity.

Zamaldelica are different, aroma don't fit with commercial standard, it's more like old school sativa. Some pheno smells very floral and have nothing to envy to other good strain like panama, but maybe you'll need good stuff (a good vaporizer) to really appreciate this kind of taste.

Didn't see potency as a criteria so I'll add Agent Orange to this, Bubbleberry is a good one with above average potency ....my cut was from older stock, dunno about the seeds being offered now though!

Awesome thanks for the replies. Let me know what other strains taste really good even if they are not Ace. Another one I am getting is Island Sweet Skunk.

my PCK grow has some nice fruity smellers.
I got a really nice purp keeper which has a kushy aroma with tart berry undertones.
also got a very nice lemon / sour mango haze... absolutely mouth watering. still in flower at the moment but i have no doubt this should translate into the finished product.

Welcome czerwonymike,

If you are looking for sativas then both Zamaldelica and Panama both have sweet, citric, fruity phenos, depending on the expression ... one trait or other is more dominant.

The faster flowering and more compact panama phenos are sweeter, the longer flowering ones are usually more lemony/citric (and incensey). Zamaldelica has sweet fruity phenos, best smelling Zamaldelica pheno smells like a juice of tropical fruits (mainly mango) and carrot.

If you prefer indicas, then Pakistan Chitral has amazing sweet expressions, there are purple/pink phenos with the sweetness of bubblegum mixed with forest fruits, but not citric.

Hope it helps, good luck!
