it's a catch 22 in canada. You vote conservative, you get the anti pot but pro firearms. You vote liberal you get pro pot but VERY anti firearms.

It's a catch 22 in most countries. The whole left/right, liberal/conservative thing is pretty ridiculous anyway. There's nothing mutually exclusive about, say, opposing the drug war and being pro-choice, and supporting the right to keep & bear and strict(er) immigration policies. Reason isn't bound by political dogma, and isn't affiliated with any party.
