I think the maître d' prods Creosote into taking that wafer, at first he declines saying something like "I couldn't eat another thing, I'm absolutely stuffed, buzz off!!" "But sir, it's wafer thin..." says the maître d' (John Cleese) again.
Life of Brian is one of my fav DVDs, it's in the 'Classics' section of my DVD system, same with everything done by Peter Sellers, a true comic genius.
I liked the choice to pronounce wafer with a French accent.
