Mixed summer outdoor grow

Last night first natural rain in seems like over a month at least. Really looking forward to the nutter budder harvest. So far ka5h is still not flowering. @Spankee we are pretty close so seems they should flower about the same time. Not yet though.. I hope the ka5h is worth it.

My one nutter budder wasn’t in the best location and grew tall looking for light. Its budding nicely but looks like it needs some Nutes. I picked up some fox farms organic bloom and am adding that to the watering. Also a teaspoon of hardwood ash got addded in one watering last week.

Today was watering day. I forgot when I last added nutes so decided to make this entry. Teaspoon of sea 90 + 4 tablespoons big bloom fox farms + teaspoon of hard wood ash. Add to about gallon half watering can filed with rainwater. Still nothing on Ka5h. It’s a race to the finish line now and it hasn’t started! It still smells like a skunk, though maybe this is lessening some.

My nb is lookin good. It starting to sparkle in the sunshine. Kind of small, I’m going to have to boost up the nutes on it next grow I think.

Look up at the skies. Military and Bill Gates spraying our crops from Washington state all the way down the Baja. Very few blue sky days. A bucket of water left outside, EC-19 reading a week ago now reads 67! There blocking our sun with reflective metals that fall to the ground.

The temps are staying plenty hot still and no rain. My rainwater supplies are still good though and plants are doing well. An absolute shit ton of white flies. It’s amazing. The best plant now is my charlottes angel. Many bud sites, good vigor, good color, fattening up. I hope it’s high in Cbd. Nutter budder is also doing great. Not quite as many sites, not quite as fat, it should be done rather soon though. Something to be said about that. And finally... the former star of the garden that is quickly falling from grace, my KA5H. Damn thing is still not flowering and I’m annoyed. My panties are in a bunch.. my tits are in an uproar etc etc. I read a good one the other day in another thread before one of the mods deleted it.... “somebody has sand in their vag”. Yes I got sand in my vag as well. Everyone loves Ace genetics, but I don’t seem to have luck with them. I have about 6 weeks of good weather left, if I’m really lucky it may go 8-9 weeks of finishing weather.

You will have to black her out at night (KA5H). Build a frame to pull a tarp over at night. Pull it over at sunset and off at sunrise. You have to be persistent EVERY day doing this and she will flower but might not finish.

I think you are right. The thing is I can’t do that without attracting some serious unwanted attention. I think I’m going to let it ride and see what happens. I have four more ka5h seeds left. This plant reeks of skunk anyway. Not sure I’ve smelled one this skunky in a very long time. if this one ends up composted, not much I can do about it.

Lots of good things happening. The ca plant is just awesome. Fat cola, nice side branches, growing strong. The pistol tips are a bit unique I think. They look somehow different than any other plant I’ve grown. Should be obvious in the jpegs below. The small nutter budder is getting close to chop time. I hope the smoke is sleepy like advertised. I may do a sectional harvest. Like a few from top, mid, ottom, then a week later repeat. Something like this. I have 8 more seeds so doing this should be worth the time. It’s fattening up some and starting to turn. The tall nutter budder is less so. It’s not fattening as much, not turning. It’s got a ways to go. I’m looking forward to this harvest. Malawi is not doing it for me and I need something else. My ka5h.. I am going to call today day one of flower, though still not real sure. It’s a great plant but wtf..

Tonight I snipped a lower Larfy bud off the nutter budder. It looks pretty good to me and does not have much longer to go.

The nutter budder is not bad. The taste is rough right now but hopefully will improve. The effect is nice and should improve the next week or two. Currently, it’s better than the Malawi’s I’ve been growing.

Right now plants are doing well. Even the ka5h has grudgingly started to flower a little. The ca plant continues to chug along and put on girth. The one nutter budder is really close, but the other is still bulking up.

I've never grown outdoor weed, so i just watch and try to learn stuff. Am about right at the Canada border, so dunno if an outdoor attempt Malawi or Ka5 would be prudent.

Looking good for you, tho!

You should try next year! Put a plant or two in your garden or somewhere else guerrilla style. It can be really fun when it's just for fun. Really don't envy people whose livelihoods depend on it though, so many things can go wrong. A different strain would surely be better, the only thing those two have going for them so North would be maybe decent-ish potency even if picked early.

I’ve finished two outside grows of Malawi. One plant in the identical place as the ka5h. But this ka5h I will not attempt outside again, where I am anyway. It’s a well growing strong plant but does not seem to work for me outdoor. I did just get some upgraded indoor grow gear and am planning aka5h there. If my weather was questionable, I don’t think I would select Malawi. Nannymouse you could tuck a nice hybrid in between some veggies.. or actually something from Vermont man. He has some early flowering sativas that he grows in Vermont. The part of Vermont I’m familiar with summers are short and not extremely hot.

Sadly, I found a piece of bud rot on the main cola of the small nutter budder. We had one good soaking rain last week and this plant got bud rot a day or two later. I’ll snap some pics in a day or two.

I have been away for 4 days and am looking forward to seeing progress on my return later today. My new seeds should be in the mailbox.

The bean collection has AutoZamaldelica x Purple Satellite and AutoZamaldelica x ZacatecasTribute, which did quite well just a little south of here, in a gh. My heart is really into the autos, but have so many photos that i would like to try, also. Found that i like the chocolate thai hybrids so much, that i did get beans of the chocolate thai.

Also have Ka5hz f2's and thai x Ka5hz. They are reputed to have such different highs than the above (which i have sampled), that i dunno if i will like them, but you know how tempting that it is to try it all.

Had a very NOT good experience with a reputed vietnamese weed, very many years ago...that i really don't want to experience, again. Sort of like that 'demon latcher' affect.

Anyway, on with the show!!!!

My small bud I pulled from the nutter budder was real dry this evening. I stress the word WAS... It’s a nice buzzy body high. Still harsh but I’ll keep it. It reminds me somewhat of a bag of brown bud I got in 1988. It was really harsh but worth it, then anyway. I’m in a chatty mood after vaping that . It’s quite a nice experience, though the television does not really make a great conversationalist.

So back to this brown bud. Welcome @vermontman . This memorable brown bud everyone around had said it was Mexican dirt weed. Myself and anyone connected to weed around me never knew where it was from. Mexican, Thai, etc, etc. it was weed. Plain simple. Good or bad or smooth or harsh. Dark green, light green whatever. Except this bag. This was named. Mexican... Right or wrong I will never know. Also this is really my only foray into anything from the americas. So to my knowledge, I’ve never really tried any of the classics. Im starting to look to the America’s for Sativas and wonder what plant characteristics distinguish say Oaxacan, Colombian red, these types of American strains. Anyone?

My early nutter budder had an issue with bud rot. I pulled it and it’s drying. Others are ok. Any thoughts to if the charlottes angel is done, or if the nutter budder is done. I think the ca is ready but the nutter budder can go a while yet. ? The ka5h is moving slowly. It’s movng though.

Hey mate. Good to see the KA5H is moving :)
TripleX is good for bud rot if it's available there
Some good looking frost (y)

Which one's the Charlotte's Angel? The first pic? Looks good if so. And when is the best time to harvest a CBD strain anyway, when it stops putting on weight?

the CA is 4 and 5 of seven. 1st and last is nutter budder. I’m not sure when to harvest the cbd honestly. The cola is almost done putting out new pistils. My first run with this plant and any cbd.

The nutter budder had 3-4 areas that had bud rot. I wanted it away from the rest of the plants and it was close anyway. I cut out anything close to,rot. I hope I got it all. BTW anyone use h2o2. I’m not convinced of the benefit of this. I took a rotten bud and dunked 1/2 cup h2o2 and a gallon of water. I expected to see bubbling or something. Instead nothing. I had a wet bud rotted bud and that was it.

I had a few surprise seeds in the nutter budder. Someone hermed on me... I have not look in depth but definitely some seeds. Hopefully just a few on the one plant.

Triplex.. never heard of it but I’ll look into it. Thanks.

TripleX is made for that sort of application and can be used for fruit right up to harvest and past
Or look locally for any product with Bacillus amyloliquefaciens
A little goes a long way and you can boost it up heaps by mixing with water and feeding and spoon of black strap molasses at ~24°c
