So, juice puddle.... You have lived in the bay area for 22 years and the last four have been different. I can buy into that. I lived in the bay area for four years and it only rained twice in that time. I'm sure things are different now.

I'm just really curious as to how you can make a statement that the sky has visibly changed in the last few years decide that there can be no other reason except that the gubmit must be spraying our atmosphere with chemicals?

To me it looks like a leap of faith on par with some religious beliefs.

It has changed, its from planes, I do not claim to know what it is or if its chem trails or chontrails or not, I just know it blocks sunlight.

Sunlight is needed to fucking live, maybe not for everything here on earth but alot of thing here need sunlight, whatever it is I dont like it.

I used to think it was chem trails but theres a ton of great info in this thread. I have no clue what it could be, if you want to believe the data here do it, I dont believe it fully yet dont dismiss it.

All I want is a clear sky above my house for more then 1 hour a day man, thats all haha, I used to get that a while back and its changed. Sure it could be my area now that flying is so frequent. I get where you coming from here, I think the biggest problem is faith has been distorted through greed over a long long time, so now a days people truly are idiots running around thinking its faith.

Yeah, I don't know what to think of it, I'm not into "chemtrails" as most think cause i posted this thread. I was actually reading a peer review paper by the late Dr. Eugene Mallove and some things on wilhelm reich when i came across some weather modification BS. I though it was interesting cause the meteorologist called it "chaff" and said the military used it, never heard of it being called that.

contrails at different altitudes would have different thermal properties.

Nothing different going on now than when I was a kid... except more air traffic... which must fly at many different altitudes to avoid collision... More planes in the air means more contrails.

No worries... believe whatever you like, I just always like to make sure some reality gets interjected into these things... If people would use their critical thinking skills and keep in mind that contrails and clouds are made of exactly the same principal component, water vapor, they'd realize that contrails can do anything clouds can do... including persist all day, and look different at different altitudes/temperatures/pressures.


If anyone wants to look into the REAL issues involving contrails, look into some of the research into the effects this extra jet induced cloud cover is having on the climate.

When I was a kid we had contrails from the SR71 and the U2 spy planes. People thought they were chem trails back then too.
Cold war was going full force. The current pres. at the time joked that the "bombing of Moscow will begin in 5 mins" then he laughed and said "just joking"

That's the sad part of these claims that fall under the conspiracy theory category. There's usually some real, tangible, provable problem that the claims distract from. Problems that we could do something about if more people were informed. But the conspiracy theories are easier to believe for some people because, since there is no real evidence to support them, there is of course no real action you could take to solve them.

Cannabis legalization is a difficult battle and will take years to achieve still. But what delays it more is when people who are potential advocates get wrapped up in conspiracy theories about, for example, how Monsanto (or insert other evil company/government institution here) will rule the world and destroy all our weed if it is legalized generally. Of course legislation that legalizes but bans companies and the government from entering the market will never happen, so these people will never support legalization. And all because of an unsubstantiated belief that they hold.
