Hello!
This afternoon the Colorado Senate passed HB1284 on second reading. Now, they wil update the bill with all amendments passed today and it could be up for 3rd (final) reading in the Senate as soon as tomorrow. Our lobbyists are working on getting copies of all floor amendments passed today and an updated draft of the bill as soon as they are available.
Overall, the votes seemed to favor us on nearly every issue. There
were a number of favorable last-minute amendments offered that were voted down, but I didn't see any passed amendments that raised serious red flags.
I will continue to be in touch with our lobbying team throughout the day, and will update you all with as much information as possible at tonight's CMMR meeting:
