Making bubble hash with sativa's

I have some buds that wont get smoked before next harvest, So i bought some bubble bags, I am wondering if it will be a waste for me to use 3+ ounces of C99 bud and few zips of Indica trim.

I got the
220,160,73 and 25 micron bubble bags. The c99 is frosty as hell, but i have always herb of people using herb with large trichomes.

Any words of advice? waste of time, or should that 25 bag be full with all of the sativa trics?

Edit. Been BHO guy for years, first crack a hash. Any advice is good advice at this point.

sativas often produce smaller resin glands indoors

i like to take my sats ice em, hash em and filter to the 73u

THEN i let the cold water that's left sit to let the remaining resin sit and then i siphon off the water and then pour it through the 25 u

i keep the 25 for smoking

Well, I got more then I expected thats forsure,
This is a cell phone shot, the hash is a lot lighter then it shows

I did two rinses the top is 25 micron left side is the first rinse
the 73 turned out to be the lighter hash, the left side is the first rinse and again right side is second.
better shots with better light when my cam charges.

The hash is WAYYY lighter in color in person, and yeah forgot to say the shit smells like the Sweetest pheon of c99

So If anyones interested I ended up getting 16 grams of cured tasty hash.

Has a nice Mello high and a coffee fruit punch smell to it.
My process was a little flawed, I am sure the hash will get better with time, it will take a few tries to own the method.

Yeah, I am stoked with the amount I ended up with for sure!
I added to much ice, so I never did squeeze the water out of the 220 bag, because I never did let the ice 100% melt, and my process was not smooth, a lot of fumbling around and being lost

Good job Sir! . Btw more ice the better and u want to avoid squeezing out the 220 bag which would introduce more contaminate...so it sounds like your method wasn't flawed after all

I also tossed my 160 back in the mix of water, it was fairly green. What would one do with the 160 shit? How does that dry out?

I will be making a new batch pretty soon, It is so nice having hash in the fridge, a-pose to bags of shake, triple bagged, and still stinking my freezer up.

I dont have a press, and I'm sure glad I did not waste money on one. I was very shocked at how easy the hash was to press in my band, Going to school the next day after and not having a shower in the AM was a bad idea. My hands were stained with the STANK of hash for a good 30 hours after. My stoned story for the night

I always toss the 160 , I just pull that bag & rinse it down the drain . Almost entirely fine leaf contaminate IME .

Also the better / cleaner the hash is , the easier it is to hand press..so good job there too! . I agree those puck presses are a waste of money ...unless your making kilos or shit green hash that won't easily hand press . Actually I usually just leave my bubble unpressed , but it is fun to play with making different shapes and a good test of quality . I love to roll up a big piece like temple ball

I have become hooked on hash, well my hash. I have never found bubble like the shit I turned out, but these bags did all the work.

Got a half pound of bud thats getting converted on sat. See how I do with that much product.

you can do the whole process a second and even a third time to get the rest of the trich heads. the first run is the best one, but the second can be darn good too and even if you don't need your friends will love ya if you give out some presents of it. third run is more for cooking and i don't always bother with it, but a second run is well worth doing.

ps the 160 is more about making sure those contaminants dont end up in the main quality.

Ive ran hybrids and had the 160 melt and bubble well.

wow never had that yet, had it smell and look quite good, but never melted, let alone bubbled.

Thats interesting, My 160 looked pretty nice actually, I will take a bit out this weekend see what happens.
