The interesting thing about Maxibloom is that everything is in one jar, including CaNO3.
Figuring out how to match the formula is going to be easy. I would PM tester...if he is in the mood you will get an excellent match. Thing is you would need to keep the CaNO3 separate until you mix it in the tank (no big deal imo) unless someone knows the trick that allows GH to mix it all in one tub.
Can you post the guaranteed analysis and derived from info?
The 1 part nutes are formulated by making an acid magnesium phosphate bond this way they dont get the reaction between calcium and phosphorus .A
NPK =5-10-9
N=5, P=10, K=9 and M=3
i.e the Lucas Formula
Amounts are in Ounces: Final ppm each nutrient: N=176, P=133, K=300, M=100, Calcium=166
Part A.
Calcium Nitrate 75.3
Iron Chelate 2.25
Part B.
Mono Potassium Phosphate 104.8
Magnesium Sulfate 67.4
Trace Part B.
Manganese Sulfate 0.448
Boric Acid 0.085
Zinc Sulfate 0.009
Copper Sulfate 0.003
Ammonium Molybdate 0.0014
This recipe is for a x100 concentrate. That means a combination of 2.5 gallons of Part A. And 2.5 gallons of Part B to which the trace nutrients are added. With all mixed together in a dry mix you have the dry mix equivalent of Floro Nova Bloom without the added humus.
Here is another good one, better than Lucas IMO 274-108-425 ppm's
part A
calcium nitrate 574g
potassium nitrate 300g
part B
magnesium sulfate (epsom salt) 300g
monopotassium phosphate 190g
+ trace cannabis minerals
This is completely off IMO, or I'm the one who doesn't get the recommended dilution rate.
In 100 US gallon the above mix gives:
These are completely off the charts, no matter the dilution rate.
- 668.8 NO3
- 1786.2 P
- 2255.1 K
- 497.7 Mg
- 956 Ca
This gives:
1291 PPM
- 290 N
- 290 NO3
- 261.5 P2O5
- 114 P
- 541.2 K2O
- 449.2 K
- 257 Ca
- 78 Mg
- 103 S
N2O5:K2O ratio = 1.1 : 1 : 2.1
N:K ratio = 2.5 : 1 : 3.9
Ca:Mg ratio = 3.3 : 1
K:N ratio = 1.5 : 1
That fist recipe from Fatman might be for 500 gals instead of 100.
Using the same amounts of salts the NO3 and Mg content will be the same as with Fatmans calculations, but the P and K contents are still off because of mono potassium phosphate. He might made a mistake when converting P2O5 -> P and K2O -> K.
Maxibloom
Maxibloom at 1 tsp (~ 7 grams) per gal is the same as this mix at 1 gal.
