MAIL INTERCEPTION NOTICE

Hope this is the correct place to post this. The community needs to know this. I ordered from seed boutique. The seeds never came. It's been about 3 months. Today 11/7/11 I got a mail interception notice. It was labeled "unknown seed (mail 287 only) (propagative material) 75 Gram.
Postmark: United Kingdom of Great Britain and N. Ireland. Quarantine or regulation in violation 7 CFR 319.37. Disposition: Prohibited material removed and destroyed. There were X's on two lines saying: Material not authorized entry & Phyto-sanitary certificate missing.

Should I worry about it or should I just say screw it and move on. It doesn't seem very threatening. More just as a matter of fact. "We threw your shit away". Comments?

I'm suprised it took them 3 months, don't know if thats just ineptitude or something else is going on.

This far out though, I don't think you have anything to worry about. If they were going to do something they would have already done it, i think.

I'd say unless you were ordering a thousand beans at once, you probably have nothing to worry about. I've never received such a notice but I remember many years ago hearing about folks on OG who had, and to my knowledge those people are still free and growing.

I agree. Just ordered 5 and whatever freebies they added. Still makes me nervous lol. I only grow one or two plants so I'm not too freaked I suppose. Just the idea of it I guess. lol

These were seeds mailed to the USA?

I sure hope you do not order seeds to your grow address, they would be probable cause for a warrant I am afraid if they were in your name and ordered to your address. Just be safe and I would be very careful ordering any more to that same place that is one way I know of that they nailed a dude a few years back as he kept re-ordering and was using his real name and home address. Not smart at all even if they are just seeds and never order to the same address in the case they are intercepted that is just seed ordering 101. Much love.

Thank you for the information. I'm not ordering anymore seeds again. To me it isn't worth it. I'm about to get a job again so I'm wrapping this up. Just not worth it for me.

set up an elaborate 10kw grow with a little bad wiring.
set the place on fire and call the piggies tell 'em you smell weed in the burning home.

i realize this is a tad expensive but it will throw 'em off the trail. 'specialy when you tell 'em he has been looking through your mail for the past couple 'o months..

I had my seeds taken one time out of about 30 or so orders. I received the "green tape" about a month after my order. Nothing ever happened. Except loosing the hundred bucks for the seeds....

no more evidence they distroyed it. game over. reorder to another address and name. it happens . welll not to me yet{ knocks on wood}. i havent heard of anyone busted due to seeds yet . not saying it hasnt happened just that i have known folks with seeds confiscated and nothing happened . .

Crazy thing happened to me on one of my orders from the SB. I got my seeds in normal packaging with a sticker on the outside of the package from the FDA saying that the FDA has opened my package and looked through my medications and allowed them to be delivered anyway. It was a sticker like I was importing medications from overseas and they opened them reviewed the medications and allowed them to be delivered anyway... It was really weird bc all that was in the package was a seed oreder from SB...

I think the powers that be have more important things to keep track of than using customs to track down individual hobby growers. Still, your good name and address is now tarnished. I'd be more worried if I lived in a small town and the folks in the local post office were talking to each other and their spouses about your package that had been intercepted as contraband. Rent a private PO Box where nobody knows you.
