You know i gots to chime in on this one. Man I can remember 2pac and Mac Dre rockin live shows in places like the pheonix in peteluma and small shows in santa rosa. In my area Mac Dre is a legend and it was all before "hyphy". I could go on and on and im sure as the thread goes on there will be many storys about the mac named dre. I have ran into Dre a couple times, but can remember the last time I ran into him.
We were at hot august nights in reno down by the dairy queen, a clean ass G500 silver mercedes rolls up in the middle of the street and rolls down the window...MAC DRE....I was on the curb waitin for my boy to come out of the dairy queen and I happen to have a eye for A nice benz, I recognized who it was and ran up on the driver side and told him I got dank lets blow. By that time the rest of the 200 people on the corner figured out who it was too and were all over the street. I went to the passenger side and J-Diggs had the camera shootin for treal tv. Next thing you know like 6 motorcycle cops ride up and tell him he has to move along. Dre said "I gots to go mayne" and rode off. 3 months later he was dead, and I was attending the public wake for him in fairfield.. So sad. It was a trip though them people rushed his car like he was one of these cats you see on mtv every day, that lets ya know he was a real rock star in the bay!

fa show man, never got the priveledge ta meet him first hand... woulda if the shit wouldnt a went down. Chuck beaz and sauce dinero is the folks and they recorded there second release(actualy never got released) at my folks studio. some cool cats, they was gonna bring him through though and introduce, I woulda been workin with him if his ass didnt get shot. Got a lot uh folks from the crest that know him pretty good though. All his shit go, wish I woulda had a chance to rap with him... An origanal mofucka makin the most outa what life has to offer.

edit: the second album never released cuz it got out on the streets too much.
