I have no problem helping out. We have a place to congregate, so I have no issues with helping to pay for the bandwidth. Out of curiosity, has a number been reached for a lifetime subscription?
Atm, I'm in a situation I can't grow, so I can't even offer to GROW BEANS... lol but I can PAY!

I think $250 for a lifetime is peanuts compared to what we've all learned here on ICMag.

I liked the seed auction idea with seed donations from site members. You could get the breeders into it too and have a contest to create icmag worthy donation strains. (Or you could use it as a way to get people into breeding!)

I haven't got hundreds of posts, but I have researched thousands of posts and have been a member since 2004. I would not have a problem with contributing monetarily if need be. I like the idea of having a select membership and private forums for such....also the possibility of getting some seeds for your membership is cool. I have gained vast amounts of knowledge from this site and would hate to see it go away......

i don't know where yall stand, but why dont you give the option of donating seeds and/or paying an annual/one time membership fee, nothing insane, but enough to cover the server costs with the current membership (ie, $5, $10, etc.)
Personally I would pay an ascending scale membership.
level 1 = free (acess to all the forums etc.)
level 2 = $25 same as above. and recieve freebie pack of the season 4x a year.
level 3 = $50 same as above but with a members area no pics allowed but links are ok. to keep the non member threads alive with porn!
Level 4 = $100 same as above but nominate vote crown a few strains and give 25-50 seeds of those strains once a year. host contests within the membership area using these strains.. to encourage renewal.
level 5 = $200 same as above. Included is ViP access to icmag cannibis cup events. Only for the truely dedicated growers. have to put some money into the show if there is a large turn out.
Just some stuff that ran through my head as i was reading.

Thank you. I will have a fresh batch in about 2 months of lowryder #2. I bet you can't guess where i got them seeds lol. By the way i need to comment on the outstanding serves of gypsy nirvana. Half the world away and i get my stuff in 6 days. Not only that they all germinate. You people our CHAMPIONS! CHAMPIONS!!!
