Here's some food for thought, re hash production. A few years back a neighbor and I tried a guerilla grow with some Dinafem CHP in some pine forest. In the winter there appeared a fair amount of light but in summer the canopy closed up with vines and other obstructions. The CHP didn't grow for shit, just stunted and started flowering early, but it didn't affect resin production at all. The plants were a foot tall and the buds loose, but they were absolutely sticky and covered. The throw against the wall grade of sticky. It seemed at the time that the looser bud structure from the shade allowed greater room for resin production than the tight cabbage heads typical of the indicas. I've been pondering since if you wouldn't be making hash production easier by shade growing plants for looser bud structure.
