LifeStar 1st Bx Smoke Report

Hi gang. Normally I don't do reports on my own shit so take this for what it's worth. My son has been working my first cross Lifesaver x Sensi Star. The Sensi Star was the male F1 from seed of Paradise seed origin. The male was remarkable as it was hardy with dark green very large hands and it was even resinous.

I chose a slightly more sativa-ish Lifesaver than the fattest indica clone that we like. Lots of folks like the reddish stemmed more sativa Lifesaver that doesn't take too long. About 8 weeks max.

So my son grew some and selected a clone mother. I have a couple of them I can get pics from later but this is my smoke report on his partially seeded buds. The buds are holding what are 1st Bx Seeds and we do have enough almost ready for a limited release. I am going to choose 4 special testers and Smokey is one of them if he accepts.

Farmer John and a few other friends have first dibs. Since my son did most of the work they are his seeds so I can't give away too many testers. I will be making the second bx seeds this spring and I will take the project back for now. We both did some work on this so its a father and son project whereas his GrapePunch is all his.

The buds are quite firm but not completely cured yet. As I sniffed the bag the smell was slight and citrus with something else reminescent of Lifesaver.

As I pulled a bud apart in my fingers and sniffed at first I said, "Lemon" had Mrs. BOG sniff and asked her if it was lemon and she agreed. After some more sniffing my son and I decided it was a bit Lime smelling so it's either Lemonlime or just Lime maybe. Like sniffing a fresh cut lime I would say.

The bud is tight but easy to press, kinda cushioney and very sticky. So I cut a bud up and rolled a joint. This bud seems a bit like sour bubble in the way it burns as it's tight and pretty high in oils. Soot can come off the joint tip but it burns pretty nice and leaves a grey ash even not really cured.

The buds are partially seeded so I am sure it could be better but we got pretty fried on the joint between the three of us. Then this morning I tried it straight with mrs. BOG and it was strong but not as potent as sour bubble. About 1/3 of the way through we both coughed a bit and then it went smoothly.

The taste is a bit like Lifesaver but there is something from the sensi star that I am unfamiliar with. No bad tastes but a bit of the haze taste I guess. What does Sensi Star have as it's heritage anyone?

I really liked the buzz in the morning because unexpectedly it was more like Bogglegum or LSD than Lifesaver in the high. Not as couchy so some will say less potent but it is potent for sure. Very trippy high I would rate at about 8 and it is on the up side with smiles easy to find. This has real possibilities and it is a tight bud Fred. Thanks for your words buddy. BOG

Hello Bog, I just enjoyed your smoke report/ itroduction of Lifestar. If you remember I asked you about Lifestar at last years 420. So I'll proudly test grow Lifestar, honered. I also expect other pheno's will have couchlock abilities of the highest order. Bog I think you found the best place for product introductions and hope you use us again. Thanks my friend, Smokey.
