Loans are bests as tests to see how much the person thinks of your guys' friendship but I'd still never go over 500$, unless they're helping me of course :)

Every loan is really a gift under many guises. You receive the gift of patience - this comes at no charge. You receive the gift of sharing - whether you did so gladly or did ala Vanilla Ice hanging from a balcony. You receive the gift of abundance - the only true gift you can give. Every loan I have ever made has been a gift. If you have that attitude you stay friends and can't be disappointed.
