I have a feeling the trim is the least of his worries given the fact that he had multiple master cases, glass tubes, and a vac oven. He was also doing it in a residential area. I doubt he gets as lucky as you did.

Maybe it's by county.. in Sonoma they don't consider 'trim' to be worthy of caring.
Unless it's changed, you're allowed 3lbs of 'dried and cured cannabis' to be on your person at any given time.. it says nothing anywhere about trim.
But I also believe it says it has to be broken down and trimmed to be considered evidence.. I know quite a few people who do not de fan leaf or trim anything/break it down for this purpose.
