Isn't it a boon in the end to have someone high profile lending their weight to unweighing the burden this places on still a great many who still get charged with crimes because a "great" society can't get off its provincial petty taboo-ass ? The fact is; they DO face a lot more public scrutiny as a result of their celebrity status and the stakes are even higher for them to come out. on the globe ...this is a given . I'd work for them in a New York minute...

Just for the Bill Maher show alone , have you watched that at all ? Bill has guests from senators, congressmen/women , journalists , writers , top actors & comedians , diplomats, politicians ...all of the highest order . This network is watched all over the world ...and Bill Maher has got cajones doing one of the most fantastic jobs blending the greatest intelligent comedy & poilitical satire thats very powerful & persuasive . Political satirist have had immense power for change going all the way back to ancient Greece & the Roman empire , btw

Haha this thread is a trip. I'm kinda neutral on Gaga herself. I don't listen to her, but I have to admit her stuff is catchy. Very very talented as a writer and performer. Totally ripped off madonna, but hey what great performer hasn't stolen from their 'influences'. Totally looks like Marilyn Manson. Totally a bad role model for teenage girls. Totally a skank that I would probably not do. Haha.

To me it is pretty obvious that she is the creator of her music and style, not that she isn't being helped but I think most of it comes from her. None of it is anything we haven't seen before.

She was not created and groomed by the illuminati give me a break. Yes there is a lot of classic mainstream 'illuminati' symbolism in her style and videos there but nothing anyone couldn't get browsing online or reading a few books. It's called being an artist. I'm sure she's aware of what she's doing but in all logic you need to draw the line there. There's a lot of satanic symbolism and lyrics in many classic rock groups material does that mean their all satanists? Good grief.

I can see why many like her and why she's so big and I can see why many hate her. You can't deny her of props for talent though she's written many many hit songs starting before her fame and she can certainly play the hell out of that piano and she can absolutely sing better than most mainstream performers I see these days.
