Ok,.. how the hell can my ppm's not rise today and my pH still drop? maybe this is the starting sign of a 180 (hopefully) but anywayz,.. here are todays reading

I might be "focused on the most critical element of your grow" bbing, but I sure as hell ain't getting any answers for what i see as major daily movement in my readings (unless I make adjustments)

PPM's comming down probably means their feeding (faster than evap, and water drinking)
PPM's going up probably means their drinking water (+ Evap) which results in concentration of salts.

I also think you were correct in observing a slow down after trimming/manipulating, and perhaps now there back on the feed,

I also believe there is validity to your earlier statement re: Res temps. Seems abit chilly for tropical influenced sativas. Water temp can effect Disolved O2 (DO) levels which can mess with PH but I usually see PH drops result from low DO levels induced from heat???

I am not sure I am being helpful at this point, or am providing you with helpful answers (I tend to work things out extemporaneously) So im gonna lay low and watch for awhile. Keep at it, looks like your going to have a good result and things will improve in full flower.

Took a new pic of the scrog, which I took the time to lower a few inches and rearranged the bud spots last night. I've got around 45 bud spots to my count.



Todays readings,.. ppm rise is slowing, as is pH fall. Could they finally be getting hungry again? :eek: :monkeyeat

you want PH to fluctuate! This allows a variety of different nutes to be taken up at different times. Shit I used to have a MEGA hogsbreath mom (over 4ft in diameter) in a 5 gal DWC....it drank OVER a 3/4 a gallon a day and PH rose at LEAST .4-.5 within 18hrs! Just let it drift from 5.6-6.2ish. I always set mine a lil low like 5.6-5.8ish so it has plenty of room to rise without detrimental affects and I also check it daily making sure it doesnt go above 6.2

a 5 gal DWC loosing almost one fifth of res mix a day would have that much flux,.. well it is poss to have it not though but its more likely,.. I'm in a 35 gal res though and i still think I'm getting to much drift and in the wrong direction. and i understand you want some flux, but i shouldnt have to be adding pH up every damn day.

Yesterday I trimmed a butt load from underneath. I'd say a third of all the foliage there is total. :eek: Don't know how there going to react but in the name of SCROG I believe it had to be done.

After today's add of water and pH up these be my readings,..

530 ppm
5.84 pH
68F

*sigh*,.. would feel better if my ppm's were going down not up and generally moving slower all together but I'm starting to think that's just not going to ever happen this grow :fsu:

black D is def going to be ready first,.. ive never seen so many god damn crystals so early and so far out on the branches. makes me think by the time its done the buds are going to be nothing buy a block of THC muahaha:







This attempt at scrogging of sativas is getting redonkulous in my not so humble opinion. :fsu: i thought Ive been keeping the light close enough too but there stretching like mad :
