So I chopped the Indica,plant in front left corner,and the plant in the back left corner tonight 10 minutes before lights on and now have them hanging whole to dry.Figure I'll do the usual and hang them whole for 3-5 days and then strip down to just branches for 2-3 days...from there depending on hoe dry or wet they still are they'll get stripped to buds and jarred or stripped to buds and left on screens until ready to jar.

RicoT Thanks man,I won't forget to keep ya'll informed on dry weight,as well as a full smoke report of each plant.I'll be stickung with the micro/bloom for a while,simpler/cheaper then 3 bottles and additives...gonna play with lowering dosage of micro as well as cutting micro @ key points through flower,as well as upping bloom in key points...might try some koolbloom too,we'll see.

I hope one of these plants has some good medicinal use...was smoking earlier,coughed,threw my damn back out...paun got so bad this evening I had to go to the hospital for steroid shots and muscle relaxers.I was actually dragging mysrlf on my stomach to get to the bathroom or kitchen and back to bed lol...fucking sucked!
Back home now,I have gained some range of movement but still sooooooore as hell...makes for checking the two girls left in the tent a galldamn feat I'll tell ya.
Watch your back,old heads and especially young heads.I'm only 31 yrs young but have been in a lot of car accidents,busted myself up skating,surfing,freestyle/flatland bmx and all other things...throw my damn back out at least twice a year every damn year for the last 8 or so years...I'm getting myself some damn MRI's already.

I've been hit twice while riding my bike, was in the crosswalk too, both times!
Both times the car made direct impact with my legs. Second time was he worst. I Went flying, the guy looked like a recovering meth addict(no teeth), he was driving a plumbing van. He didn't even realize he hit me till he heard the sound of my bike getting caught under his axle! Fuking idiot! I didn't even have time to get ahold of myself, I scrambled to get up fearing for my life, if I hadn't jumped up he would have either killed me or left me a paraplegic. Got nightmares of being UNDER that van.
Anyways good of you to remind the younger members that anything can happen at anytime, like smoking a bowl and throwing our back out. Great grow btw, I gotta try this vert thing soon.

At 18 I got put into a deep narrow ditch head on.No seatbelt so I busted the windshield with my head,broke the dash and steering wheel with my face,and broke the gear shift off witj my right leg.When EMT arrived on the scene to fet me out I was strewn acroos from front right passenger seat and rear left passenger seat.My nose was filetted open as well as deviated my septum (sometimes when I breath it sounds like Jim Carries nose in Me,Myself,& Irene..it whistles lol.Also they had to remove my left eye to stop the hemmorahging,place it back in...so they never paid attention to my back.
I've been T-boned (my side,driver side) twice.
Making my doc give me MRI's when I go for a follow up this Friday.I'm done playing games with them and would at least like to know what exactly it is that is wrong with my back/lower lumbar!

As for your questions...
1) Been growing for about 15 years now,off and on.Started with 2x 4' dual bulb fluoro shop lights and outdoors.After a year I bumped up from the shop lights to a 430w HPS in the same space (a 2x4 section of a 2x8 sliding door closet)...then I had bought a pre fab cabinet from HD (2x2.5x6) and slapped a 400w HPS in there with a 4" 170cfm exhaust fan.After that I designed a lot of custom cabs and built a few of them and used them...all using a 400w HPS.I have designed and used perpetual cabs with a 400w bloom section up top and a fluoro veg/mom/clone section at the bottom and vice versa.Haven't grown in a few years so I decided to try these tents out and bought a 3x3x6 SJ DR90II.Not bad for $200,pinholes IMO are not a problem (so long as tent sits in a lowly lit room or better yet pitch black room).I like that they are quick to put up and just as easy to tear down in case of emergency too...and all the wood that goes into making cabs can get pricey depending on quality of the wood...and they're heavy,you have to use caster wheels to move the damn things,even when empty,and they take a lot longer to build/tear down.
One day when I have enough money to do everything right I may switch back to a cab or two,but built so stealth,not even wooshing of air can be heard.
But in all reality,I'm looking at going bigger and sticking with vertical.Just going to take time & $ which also takes time lol.
2) Uhhh...yes/no/not really sure.
One of my grows under the fluoros,I was gifted 10 Orange Bud seeds aling with 12 SSH seeds from a kid a few years older.They were not in breeder packs but the ones labeled Orange Bud sure smelt like citrus/oranges all throughout flower,and when dried you could roll a pinner blunt and all you could taste was orangey good citrus!But other than that grow,yupp,just bagseed,and I've had pretty good results doing so...don't understand why peeps knock bagseed so much...sure you may get hermies,sure it may be a shit cross,sure you never know what you're going to get...but there is the possibility of something very magical coming aling too....I'll get a little Forrest Gump on ya's...Life is like a bag full of random bagseed,you never know what you're gonna get...just as in life there is good & bad-happy & sad,and every once in a while something magical happens.
I do plan on working with genetics bought from seed banks/breeders like Fractal's Strawberry Diesel F3,possibly some of Rare Dankness' genetics,some CSG stock...thinkin' bout picking up some of Hammerhead's GDP x Querkle he sent in for the server fund too.But there will always be a place for bagseed in my life.
3) No not at the moment,sorry.I know I can get better pics with my cell cam,it's just all about lighting,focus,shutter speed,apperature,and keeping my hand and subject I'm trying to shoot as still as possible.Right now I think lighting and steadiness are my two problems,there is no source of light to illuminate the plants (so the camera recognizes and can focus on what you're trying to shoot) in the room other than the HPS (no one likes HPS glow un the pics).Before the last two plants come down,I will do my best to get a light source and get better pics.In another month or so I'll be buying either a nice digital camera or decent digital SLR camera.Other than that,some of these pics ain't too shabby for a 5 MP cell cam with flash.
4) Yes I flushed,but differently then one would normally do in soil.I just stopped feeding around day 47,didn't do a 3x water to amount of soil in container,continuing with water till end...I just stopped feeding all together and started jyst plain water from then on.Next round I'll go back to a good 3x water as there is soil initial flush,followed by last 2 weeks nothing but water.Any samplers I took have evenly dried and burn to a nice white ash,no harshness to the smoke.
5) Yes I have considered going all out organically ammended soil over bottled nutes for my grows (I do use organic only outdoors on my veggies/fruits/herbs)...I did try it once but did not like the results too much...there was noticeably more flavor and aroma,but the finished product weighed less...don't get me wrong more aroma and flavor is nice,but I can settle for slightly less aroma and flavor for a little extra yield.But I usually flush so well that all you taste is the natural flavor of the bud followed by a nice earthy goodness.

Almost forgot tonight was day 70...well I got myself up from bed rest to take these pics (can't be missing an update now can we lol).The one in the front right has purpled up some more (though not fuly/truly purple) and has a slight fruity odor...still not ready yet though IMO...we'll see what happens in the next 5-7 days...hopefully no longer though.The plant in the back right corner is getting nice and yellow,smells sugary sweet,kind of an original flavor bubblegum scent..still not ready either so like the other plant,we'll see what happens in the next 5-7 days....on to some porn!
