I have successfully eradicated the bastarding jap knot weed using a combination of spdium chlorate and sodium chloride (salt).

Do not use unless you wish to kill everything, iv a patch in my garden where nothing has grown for 10 years due to me brutalising the soil with NaClO3

an update..

A professional company came in to give us a quote. he looked around for a bit and later on in teh evening i got an email and the quote was £68,000 with 5 year optional guarantee.. they said we dont recommend herbicide spraying and we suggest you go with the excuvation. lol
