How long was the flowering time? The small amount of reports out there vary. I almost popped some for this summer outdoors, but feared they wouldnt finish by mid october. I want to eventually use them to cross into a a few other sativas. Thai, african strains, and nepalese strain i hope to hit with that spice pollen someday. God i need to hurry up and purchase some large property so i can fulfill all these goals

it was fast, 8-9 weeks from 12/12. but that doesnt mean it sure to finish outdoors as it will need to start flowering while there is more than 12 hours of daylight. you can try and let me know!

a quick update on my indoor run.

pic one- my lone Manipuri female. she is giving me fits. I cannot get her deep in flower, really going slow. I think I switched early may to flower, she has to be 6-8 weeks into flower and barely showing it. her leaves are starting to curl and blacken on the end. she drink water like crazy, so her roots are strong. she has a few seeds going, and I took a clone off of her, in case she doesn't continue to do well. I will get some offspring to play with, but I think I need to get another pack of these seeds to play with more...

Pic 2-4 are my three ukhrels. flowering is going good. fairly leafy fluffy flowers, but I suspect my testing with my new LED light, with a slightly lesser intensity may have a little to do with this. smells are slight to none, crystals are barely showing. one has a slight herbal smell. these are all very long flowering plants. the ukhrels are very seeded.

pics 5 and 6 are a couple bud shots.

I go 9/15, well 9 1/2 lights on. Speeds things up for sure. I do not think there is a decline in quality.

Look forward to your smoke report, have a pack of Manipuri on the way.

Im on 11/13 now, thats what i flower sativas at. I have been thinking about going down to 10 hours. Im wondering if the spectrum of the LED has anything to do with it. I have the veg and flower setting on at the same time. The flower only spectrum just didnt seem like that much light.

I just bought another pack of manipuri last night, as well as the syrian. If i remember right, you got the sinai as well yesum? I like that strain alot. I have 4 males left out of like 10 and like 9 females sitting in my backyard for mother/father selection right now.

I just might have a smoke report on the manipuri, in which i normally dont on my seed plants. But she is barely seeded, and the male is tossed already.

^^ Yeah, I have a 5 pack of Syrian coming along with Pavarti, Sinai, Lebanese and now the Manipuri which was out last time I ordered. The Ukhrul, Kerala, Nanda Devi, Kumaoni, whew!!

I need someone to grow these for me now.:) Oh well, better to have them and not have the time to grow than not have them at all. The Nanda Devi got really high praise by Conradino23 and the Kerala by RC Colas. Two guys that have smoked a bunch of heirloom sativas.

@ bardo: no worries on me continueing. I got all summer, and seeds are the goal, which shortens the time. To be honest, the ukhrel did turn out different than expected, manipuri i knew would go long, but not this long. Lol i have the same dream, i have been to tropics in costa rica, belize, and cambodia. I see my life in such a place at some time.

@yesum- i grab everything rsc i can. Only thing i have passed on, for no reason at all is pavarti...but i have malana, nepali highland, nanda, and kumaoni, so good enough. I really like nanda, and kerala is on my waiting list, seeds are in storage.
After my current manipuri run, i didnt feel satisfied on a strain i know is amazing. I also grabbed a pack...so happy more hit seedsman.
The sinai, you have to let finish. The last couple weeks make all the difference. Great yeilders, and late resin plants.

Outdoors- just vegging. Mother n father selections of sinai and senegal (shortest). Bud plants, jilly bean, cbd critical cure, skunk #1(taller ones). Not much to show. I went all pots this year, in ground plants get too tall. Security reasons finally prevailed in my urban enviroment. Ill be more in depth when it gets into flower.

Been a while. some updates.
I went a bit overboard for my outdoor run. the smells coming up this fall make me worried for prying noses passing by. I cycled my Barney Farm CBD Critical Cure indoors to flower. I have them on ten hours of light, as my previous uhkrels and Manipuri plant didn't want to finish. I figured I would see what ten hours of light did to a standard strain, so far so good.
Pic one and two are one of my two cbd plants. she has rock hard buds, smells of chocolate and resin. she will finish a week or two sooner than the other.
pic 3 and four are the other cbd, buds smell of a citrus funk. slower flowerer.

outdoor to come on next post.

Sorry for the sideways photos, my laptop flips em for me, but when I post they are not the right way. cant figure out how to make them flip right, as when I look at them off the site they are right side up.

Outside still, I have a jungle.
9x Sinai females, fully in flower. for mother selection.
9x Senegal females, barely starting to pop pistils. I am going to cover them mid October and see how far I can get them. for mother selection.
2x ace Yunnan. my reg stock didn't pop for me, so just trying out the fems to see what they are like. just starting to flower
2x Seedsman Skunk #1 females, flowering decently, but early obviously.
5x TGA Jilly Bean females. Couple flowering decently, others just starting to.

2 of these are in 2 gallon pots, the rest are in one gallon. they always get too big in the ground, but they are still to tall in my little pots. the sengals are 6-8' tall. jilly beans and skunks are 6-8' tall also. the Yunnan are like 4-5' tall, the Sinai are like 4' tall mostly.

Hard to see what is going on.
pic 1- Sinai group shot
pic 2- Sinai cola
pic3- Senegal ladies
pic 4- overall shot
pic 5- early jilly bean bud

hi jact nice plants :) . for the pics .
may be you just have to modify them with paint or another . it will erase all data from the capture device .and everything should be ok after that.

i'd be very interested by some close up pics of the sinai .
my indoor grow disapointed me a bit . iwill probably try them outdoor nextime.
thx

Outdoors seems to be the ticket with sinai i think. They get huge for me outdoors, and finish easily in my northern climate. I have only grown sinai indoors once, for seeds. One had great smell and color (that was my mother for all that i have popped since then), the other was ok but not special. I could see how indoors they could be lacking, semi fluffy buds and nothing to really make them stand out. Ill see if i can find any closeups in my library.
Ya paint is probably the right idea. Lol just didnt really want to have to take the time to flip them all in paint. Takes some time to open, flip, save ect on massive amounts.

nice thx jact.
mine are actualy curing . will be able to tell more soon.

for the pics
i think you can flip them with the window pics viewer now.

but if they are just fliped the wrong way when upload to site . you'll just have to click the record button in paint if they appear in the right way on your pc. it will make things staright quicly i think :) .
