Some Lebanese smell is developing on stem rub :) Very nice mix of aromas.

Tops continue to flower.
Some older bracts a fewer nodes south turned yellow... but no swelling.
I wonder if these will swell at all with ongoing maturation.

I love the aesthetic of these sativas. Will be worth the wait in the end.

Yeah, theyre definitely not everyones average flowers.
I'm pretty sure it will turn out nice :)

Meanwhile, the stem rub of the bigger test plant is quite in between Manipur and Lebanon.

Having some beekeepers in my family and i can say the aroma resembles the scent of propolis.

Very exciting.

I hope its a female so i can reveg and reverse her.

I guess we will see soon enough.
The Lebanese input should help with earlier sexing. And the roots are all over the place already.

I pulled the accidental seedling, his roots were very underdeveloped.

Mani#3 x Leb is going strong, theres a couple of pistils showing already so i changed the light cycle from 9/15 to 10/14 and bent her down.

PS: Notice how the first set of leaves is already completely yellow?
I take it as a sign of strong hormonal response because of the short light cycle.
But i'm not completely sure.
Does anyone know what might have caused this so early?
Is it maybe hybrid vigour related?
Getting rid of the old stuff quick so the new growth can prosper?

The soil is quite rich and the roots seem well developed so i'm pretty much excluding any nutrient deficiencies.
I only water PH corrected tap water, that has worked good so far.

I repotted the cross yesterday, she had rooted her cup thoroughly.

Edit:
I was thinking to let the cross go for about 10 weeks. that would be at least 14 weeks for the remaining mother Manipuri counting from the time i cut the seeded top. she is already at week 16 from sprout (!!!).
So counting the time from sprout to planned harvest .... 24 weeks. damn.
But she made like 100 seeds somewhere in between to hehe.

Mani x Leb is showing clearly its Lebanese structure.
I'm stoked.
The Manipuri #3 might be showing signs of late flowering nanners, its too early to be sure but it looks like it.
The cross could be having all the space to herself sooner or later.
Exchanged my SILs to another manufacturer, same light output, couple of watts less = less heat. And surprisingly less stink from the bulbs.

Stem smell is mostly Lebanese, leaf rub gives off the burnt rubber of the Manipuri.

Mani#3 is putting out odd growth.
First i thought theyre gonna be pollen sacks, now i'm not so sure anymore, theres stigmas sticking out and it looks like new growth.
Its only located on one branch, the longest, and also only on top.

Is this normal? Anyone seen this before?

Yum. I'm really digging her.
Very Lebanese looking, and she seems to be enjoying her environment as far as i can tell.
No feeding yet, just whats in the soil and PH corrected tap water once in a while.
No real smells yet either, only if you rub the stem it will punch you in the nose. That grow and clone shop smell.

Edit:
Some numbers...
Day 19 of flower.
The internodes are 1 inch apart.

Maybe something triggered a hormone shift and pushed it into a little vegetative growth. It also could just be the hallmark of a very long flowering sativa that continually produces new floral clusters throughout flowering. Either way, cool that you documented it. And good thing it's only showing lady parts. I always get a bit freaked out when I see a big calyx cluster forming before any pistils are present.

Hey TyroneShoelace !
Thanks for stepping by and for the comment.
I was a little worried myself but i could have cut her anytime so no prob.

Its a miracle that she didnt hermie at all so far.
Rootbound, seeded, partially harvested, overfertilized, overwatered underwatered, big temperature drops, high daytime temps and whatnot. and just 40some watts of light lol.

I mean, shes not good looking either, but remained sexually firm.

At the moment shes pretty much devouring herself. I think shes coming to an end. I cant say for sure but i think theres enough fertilizer left in the soil...

Anyway, i couldnt water for three days and found the cross pretty droopy this morning.

After watering i waited 2 hours and checked on her again.

Thats what she looked like.

Maybe the temps are getting too high, i didnt have my thermo/hygrometer inside.

Thats roughly 3 weeks into flower.

Kinda reminds me of a computer game from the past, Unreal Tournament.
Or was it some heavy metal album cover?

Looks great! I could see a unique looking tiny Unreal Tournament map all around the apical bud. Low grav jumping from leaflet to leaflet. Would be pretty fun to play on a plant.
