During my last S.A.D grow my two girls were accidentally pollinated by a Bubba Kush that got stressed out. Had 100% fem seeds with the first cross I tried so I'm Super Excited to introduce all the Sweet Seeds fans to Sweet Afghani Bubba!! Hope the homie Tommy G doesn't mind me show casing my home made cross here. Wasn't planning on getting to them later on but I had some germ issues with another strain so I thought why the hell not! Germed 5 four days ago. All 5 popped without fail, decided to plant 4 and flower out my favorite one or two. Guess it will depend on how many females I have to choose from once they show sex. Pics are soon to come so if you are willing come along and let's discover what lies within the seeds!

Thanks Tommy! The Sweet Seeds sub forum has always had a cool vibes so I didn't think you would mind. The seedlings resemble the seedlings from my S.A.D run. The seeds are very dark like the S.A.D seeds as well. I assume that comes from the Afghani heritage.

This would be very exciting especially if you had sativa leaning pheno of S.A.D ( long internodes, wispy) as mom and indica Bubba Kush as father.Should be a killer ;)

Take care now to take cutting, cos one of them ( or even more) could be just fantastic ;)

Looking good bro ;)

I think that at the moment you don't need any advice, just be ready to transplant soon, like in 4-8 days and don't let the soil remain dry for more than 12 hours.

Keep it up and sweet smokes!

Transplanted the plants 7 days ahead of these today so your time frame is dead on Tommy! Yeah, the plants got watered right after the photo session. Thanks for riding along Tommy!!

All 4 S.A.B s have been potted up so they are trying to get comfy in their new homes. Gave them a little pure blend grow at 2.5 ml pet gallon. Plan on keeping nutes on the light side unless they ask for more. Pics coming soon!!

S.A.B update

S.A.B update

It's Friday Sweet Seeds fans so it's time for another S.A.B update. Plants have been vigorous and easy to grow up to this point. I'm extremely excited about the potential that lies within this cross! First pic shows all 4 settling into their new homes. Rest of the pics display S.A.B 1-4 in numerical order. Thinking that S.A.B #2 appears to be the most Bubba dom out of the 4. The others remind me of pure S.A.D. Plans to top at least 3 of them within the next couple of days but I may leave the Bubba dom pheno alone, due to lack of side branching. #3 and #4 showing better side branching than #1 and #2. If I can't keep all 4 due to lack of space it will be difficult to decide which ones to keep and which to toss. I want to at least veg them up until I can take clones from all of them because I have no experience cloning and would love to practice and get my technique down. Got a few more pics to throw up just wanted to take the time to thank everyone riding along for your interest. Any advice or comments are always appreciated!!!

I can see tiny female preflowers forming on S.A.B#3. That's always a good sign. If I had to decide right this second I would probably keep #3 and #4. Take a peek when the Friday update comes and tell me which two you would keep around. I know it's impossible to be able to spot your keepers without flowering out first but I might can keep a third depending on my male/ female ratio on the other strains that are in there.

S.A.B weekly update

S.A.B weekly update

Well it's Friday IC so I decided to post some pics of my progress. My two favs are probably #3 & #4 phenos. It's Def apparent that both parents' genetics have really shined in this cross! Due to another strain giving me one too many males I should be able to flower out 3 phenos instead of two. It's going to be he'll trying to figure out which one not to keep around for I have grown find of each one in their own special way. Guess I'm being sentimental. Anyways enjoy the pics and have a fantastic weekend!!!!

Topped S.A.B #3 just to experiment a little. I think the others I'll leave a lone to see how they perform. Just look at those sexy Bubba like leaves on #4!
