Please help me settle this debate. I have a veg tent that runs on a 20/4 light cycle. Occasionally I wake up a little late and open the tent for less than two minutes to water my plants. I don't see how this could negatively affect my plants but my roommate seems to think I'm hurting them. He keeps bringing up the "Gas Lamp" method as "proof". I don't see how the gas lamp method pertains to this at all, besides, I feel its shaky science at best. I like to give my veg plants a short dark period. I feel the resting period helps. So is occasionally opening the tent hurting my plants? Or more importantly, is occasionally opening the tent ruining the resting period my plants get, negating the benefits of a dark period at all? Remember, this is only in veg and for a 2 min interruption during lights out. Thanks!
