Is your tent 1.33 or 1.5?
My room is 1.33m wide by 1.9m long

I mounted the light to be roughly in the middle of a 1.33 x 1.5m rectangle so the light was evenly distributed based on the companys stated flowering footprint but for light measurement i went for a 1.33 x 1.33 space to keep it simple and designated this my 'growing' area for measurement purposes.

Is that the right thing to do?

Room: Max 28c 62% humidity Min 25c 43% humidity

Plants: active growth, third and forth sets of leaves starting to develop, axial buds on stem beginning to form

Actions: lowered lights to 1m above canopy 07/02/24 continuing to maintain huimidity with spray and wet towels.

Notes: After lowering light yesterday, I managed to accidentally unplug heater on timer so when the light went off between Noon and 6pm temperature dropped down to 13c by the edn of the 6 hours light off period. Room temp back up to high 20's by the evening. Plants are developing multiple axial buds already. plants seem to be fine in increase ppfd levels Canopy readings are 570 ppfs centre 470ppfd inncer circle mid 300s outer circle. may lower further as recommended canopy height is 80cm above plants, but creates hotspot in centre so will have to re- arrange plant in a circle,

@Ca++

I have new toys.

Checked my 5 x 9w home made ballast and it came out at 44.7 w bang on

Checked the big light and it came out at 476.4 w so under powered by about 5% not a great deal.

my 6" fan which is running at aprox 20% is using 20w

EDIT
]
and my Tap Water EC is just over 400ppm

Room. Max 30c 88%rh Min 15c 50%rh

Plants: no signs of leaf burn of deficiency, axial buds beginning to grow rapidly, canopy around 120mm wide, stems thickening.

Actions: Lower light by 50mm towards canopy for a total of 1050mm above leaf level hosed down room to maintasin humidity

BEFORE canopy readings - centre: 560 PPFD middle circle: 481PPFD outer circle: 310pPPFD

AFTER: canopy readings - centre: 610 PPFD middle circle: 520PPFD outer circle: 360pPPFD

Notes:

Raised PPFD by about 50 points by lowering 5cm towards canopy, Watch for leaf burn next few days,

Pots beginning to lighten, watering due Aprox 48 hours, measure runoff on one pot before fertilising

Wondering if i should start LST soon as stems are getting thick?

Room. Max 26.5c 61rh Min 24c 41rh

Plants. Growing back up to the light after LST on 10/2- Healthy appearance

Actions: continuing to wet room down 2 times a day

Notes. Still not watered, lightly spraying the top layer of soil twice daily is helping to maintain the soil moisture deeper down in the pots. Going to pin the plants down again in a day or two with additional pins. Pins will need replacing with larger ones to allow stem to grow

Actions: started watering / feeding plants with half strength GT universal + silicon solution

After checking run off on first pot stopped immediately any further feeding. Run off was 1500 ppm pH 6.7 upon 2nd heavy watering with rainwater at 0 ppm the reading raised to 1900 ppm. Marked this pot to watch what happens. This is a pic of plant I fertilised that was at 1100ppm pH 6.5 before extra feed:

Proceeded to measure ppm of similar but seperate pot using rainwater only at 0 ppm pH 7. Result was 1100pm pH 7

Raised pots of ground on pieces of 50mm insulation. Had realised water was wicking into bottom of some pots where I had been hosing the room down. Hence what I hadn't needed to water for almost 2 weeks

Notes: clearly the soil mix combination of jack's magic worm casts and three tablespoons of fish blood and bone has made the soil overly fertile. I will proceed to water with RO or rain water until levels reduce. Plants currently show no signs of burn but are clearly very dark green in colour indicating high levels of fertiliser. Interesting to see what happens to plant with almost 2000ppm in soil.

For some reason I haven't been getting notifications from this thread for a while.
I wouldn't bother with lst, it leaves everything very weak and brings buds closer to wet compost. Ideally you want a healthy space between anything wet, and the start of your bud sites, or mould has a really easy job of getting ahold. Then you're fucked.

@GMT i had already started LST a week before your post so I'm just going to contiue, i have had a couple of casualties, (snaps) one plant left with two axials one plant left with six axials - so not the end of the world.

As mentioned before before the PPM in these pots is very high it was at 1100ppm - i stupidly put 3 table spoons of fish blood and bone in each pot.

In other news i whacked some worms in the soil that i found when clearing out some old turf and i have noticed other animals in the pots like a little black earwig type thing. gnats as well but i have mosquito dunks and fly paper which has delat with most of them. There is definitely the odd baby slug as i've seen leaf damaage at soil level. Hopefully all these organisms will add to the quality of the weed.

Plants at 21 days

close up of the plant i measured at 2000ppm 3 days ago i think it starting to show signs of a def - i think it looks like inter veinal chlorosis

also can anyone give me a low down on how reading PPM in living soil works?

Things are moving fast in this grow room:

@Ca++ you gave me this advice on feed:

Formulex tends to be a good starter feed. Seeds, cuttings, Veg. You can bloom with it, but it's not really right. They are mixing it for 100-19-138 which leaves the P a bit low. Perhaps some MKP would be useful. You could make 100-40-165 out of the pair.
It gives you 50ppm Ca, which is about where I would aim, but as it common with GT feeds, the Mg isn't listed. With your hard water, and the LED, you have two things likely to make the low Mg a problem. Some epsom salts will almost certainly be needed.

So i have bought this:

and still have this:

Please can you tell me how to prepare the Mono Potassium Phosphate, and once prepared, how do i mix it with the Formulex to make the 100-40-165 feed?

Thanks for any assistance you can offer me.

Still moving quick. lower outside temps in last two weeks have kept the room temp at 25c humidity 50 - 85 with regular water on floor. Think I'm going to stop that now as humidity seems to be holding. A little light burn on the tips of some plants. I gave them a very weak feed a few days ago. The one plant I fed before is noticeable in its increased growth and no signs of damage

Just glanced through the whole thread and can't find where you've said what you're actually growing. What are they?

They are looking healthy.

Have a think about buying a humidifier. If you keep wetting the floor, you will probably run into mold or bacteria problems at some point. A typical desktop hummer uses an anti bac filter, before the water is put into the air. You can't be to careful.

Yes good shout, there has already been leaf material lying around on the water and beginning to rot. I like the look of the mains connected water ones but probably just go for
a desk top one for now i can put it on a little shelf in the corner.

I cleaned up the room with bleach, took the plants out and stripped back some of the lower shoots trained more and made some space in the middle of the plants for airflow.

heres the room a few days ago and a little close up shot of the fastest one which seems to be budding nicely
