As a cfl user myself I had to throw some Rep. at ya Al. When using 23w bulbs what kinda diameter we looking at here? I agree about the bulb angles from nothing but experience. Looking to upgrade the lighting in my AF/cfl cab...and if it fits...I'll post a few pics of my new UFO in action.

Had to + rep you on that one Mr Trebek I hit amazon and got a 6 pack of 23w cfls as well as 2 of the round surge protectors, just got the outlet to socket conversion pieces today and I'm gonna have it running tonight can't wait to put it in with my vegging girls!

i just got to say that this thread is inspirational, now that some time has past how did the sockets hold up? and did you stick with cfls the whole grow?
