Hurricane "IKE' did a great deal of damage to Galveston Island, Texas. Today, 45,000 Galveston Islanders that evacuated were let back on the Island for the first time since the storm hit on September 13th to survey the damage. Many have no homes left to return to and thousands are still without power along the Texas Gulf Coast.
