Fliers show up when population reaches saturation points - THEN pregnant bugs grow wings to move to new areas. - I haven't seen a flier for quite awhile.

I am signed up to try Botaniguard - the sales speel sounds great.

Controls adult and larval stages of whitefly, thrips, aphids, and more
■ Use in greenhouse, nursery, vegetables, landscape and interiorscape
■ Highest spore concentration in a Beauveria-containing insecticide
■ Unique mode of action – spores infect directly through the insect’s cuticle
■ Compatible with many beneficial insects
■ 4-hour REI / 0-day pre-harvest interval

Spores can get everywhere, they attach to the R/A's and grow under the shell, killing the R/A and releasing new organisims looking for R/A's

- I wanted to dunk the cubes for 5 minutes - but a couple soakings with a misting head should saturate the cube.

It should be here end of the week.....

That will give me some time to review SeaMaidens link. Thanks SeaMaiden!

I'd look at high temp root treatments like chemo-therapy only different, kill the pest and still be able to revive the patient. It makes great sense - and should work at a slightly lower temp - the challange becomes dry pockets and cold spots.

I continue to nuke my used cubes - water content makes a huge difference - dry cubes don't get as warm - I'm shooting for about 140 F.

I wouldn't have noticed this problem yet - normally. I'm watching closer and plan to continue. lol

Post 1420 and worth noting
