i doubled my bubble yeild w/ this simple tip...

I didnt use a zipper bag.

i use to mix with a spoon and although it was strenuous i always got better yeilds than compared to my lil washing machine

i started noticing that no matter how full and plump the zipper bag was with leaves it always became a wet lump in the corner after less than a minute of being in washer and i felt like to much leaf surface area was being lost.

i tested today on a batch of leaves i had freezing that had already been ran twice (using zipper bag). The hash was a little green but no more than it would have been but the yeild was MORE than the 1st and 2nd run combined !!

I know i cant be the first person to think of this, but i have never seen or read it anywhere and i even saw a thread on here where a guy asked if he could use his machine w/o the bag and everyone basically told him no and recommended cheap alternatives

the only cons i can see to this method is a messier cleanup and maybe a chance of more chloryphyll but that didnt seem to be the case today

I am about to have a nice batch of leaves in a week to try this method on but i would like to hear peoples opinions. is there something i am missing ??

why do we us zipper bags ???

i guess the main thing is not to stuff the bag too full and the bag should be big enough that it lets the trim move around in the whole machine. but it's a valid point i guess. i still just use a 100lt bucket.

If you dont use the bag when mixing in a machine, it can clog it. I would recommend only filling the bag alittle under half full and then top it off with ice til its full. I usually get 3 runs this way with no plant matter.

maybe it is the design of my machine too, it is not a bubbleator or name brand i got it at my local hydrostore. the way it works is it will spin one way for about 20-30 secs and then it will spin the other way causing all my leaves to get pushed together from G force

is that how they all work ??? i have never seen another in person

it seems like a better design would be short bursts back and forth that would agitate the water more and the leaves wont get clumped all to one side and i could see where the use of the bag would be handy

i have tried what you have said and split my loads in two and it didnt really seem to make a major difference in yeild and i just have smaller clumps

that is a good idea also i could mix all the leaves and ice together in the bag and the bag would keep its shape and the ice could keep the leaves from getting pushed to one side

I never fill the bag full at most 3/4. any more than that i would do in two runs if this 'no bag technique' works out then i could do it all at once and have half the work

like i said i have never seen another model machine in person, but mine has a removable plastic filter inside before the hose and when i tested it out today suprisingly little material came out the tube end and still drained fast

the material was left inside the machine and after the ice melted i just scooped it out and wiped it down and good to go

Use wet frozen trim for best results. Try NO** ice in the bag!!!
Much less plant matter in final product...

Fill washer with ice 2/3 way, add water till gets the whirlpool action. Drain. Rinse w/RO. Add water again. Drain & Rinse. Repeat w/ new....

Dont press out water at all, instead try chopping very fine.....

Gets "Blonde- FULL melt" every-time.....
