Ended up being 3/4 of an ounce, after being manicured tight. Looks like there was probably about a half ounce of trim, but I didn't weigh it. Point is, this is all smokable nugs, no leaf, no stem. Not bad, eh?
Half ounce of primo:
Quarter ounce of popcorn:
I'm completely satisfied with that. What an easy way to get a little extra! Also, I tend to really enjoy CFL grown buds... They are very aromatic and sticky.
I just smoked a bowl of this and it is definitely heavier with that extra three days. Quite a bit more euphoric though! I'm betting this will make good bedtime medicine... I'm sinking into the couch as I type this...
Have you thought about making your screen holes smaller (more string, like 5x5 instead of 3x3) so you can train the plant a little more and fill in the canopy a bit more?
Yes, blynx, it didn't take too long after implementing that screen before I realized that the grid is too large. I even thought about fixing it back then, but I was overwhelmed with my other gardens at the time. I think I just might redo the screen for tighter squares.
I've already planted my next run for in here, though, and this next time will not be a scrog. Just doing an LST. But that is only because I'm too lazy to redo the screen just yet. I was also in a rush to get the next round going, because I'm taking vacation in January and needed everything to be finished by then.
So yeah, the next round will be a single Stacked Kush clone done LST style.
Great thread Hush! This was a fun lil read and cool to see what ya can do with >100watts (not to mention medium to little effort, as you put it). It's impressive.
It also kinda lets me know, I think, that my 4-5..."seedlings"/young veg. who are struggling to grow under a ~100watt 2foot 4 bulb T5 are probably not being limited by the light.
Now I just need to figure out what it IS that I AM doing wrong
Yeah, those 4x24w T5HO units provide plenty of light, as long as you aren't trying to spread that light over a larger area than they can handle (which would essentially be about 24" x 18" or so). So that's probably not your limiting factor. Do you have a grow thread where I can check out your setup?
Hey guys. Sorry I've been MIA. Life got in the way, as it can do where there are loved ones with medical conditions. Anywho...
This plant didn't make it through my period of neglect.
During this time of stress, something had to give, so I had to turn my back on this little garden. I managed to keep my other gardens going with little to no neglect. But this one had to go.
Oh well. I did remember thinking that stacked Kush was not a good scrog strain anyway. It just didn't like branching out.
I'll probably not be doing any more small gardens anymore, unfortunately. But it was fun while it lasted.
