I'm not sure what you're getting at but a mini split removes humidity when it's in cool mode or dehumidify mode the same way any other type of AC does.
No system removes the air to dehumidify it, unless I'm misunderstanding you
sorry dude, i have only ever used portable AC... this sucks air in one side blows hot air out its ass and cool air out the front... i assumed this was how it dehumidifies the air as you get the water build up in a tank or run away feed.... i thought with a split unit you have a head in the room with 2 pipes going to the motor with the fan in ect i thought this done all the work and pumped the cold air to the head that then pumps it out in your room... thus not exchanging any air like the portable unit does...
