As with any industry, the faster and more material you can run, the cheaper it gets. The cost savings start to add up from all the small increments in bulk runs.
If you look into larger capacity extraction systems, that focus on reducing cycle times and increase the amount of material you can process in a day, you can make more money.
The tricky part is that the cost of plant material is starting to drop. Which means you need to process more material to make the extracts worth it. These small 1-5lb machines will not be able to cut it to make a profit in a year or so. I'd look into larger capacity systems.
