after mixing up bogs soil mix do i have to let the soil sit for any period of time before transplanting into it with 1 month old plants .i don't want to burn them

yes, made that mistake already. I transpalnted my plants from 1 gal to 5 gal buckets and the soil was outside probably 100 degrees. the next morning my plants were wilting badly, kinda lying on thier sides,I flushed them real good and they didnt die
