Hlg whistle noise

Hlg 350 is dimmed to 50% I need it at 40 but it starts squeezing high pitch from the driver
I heard it’s a frequency switch which causes the leds to vibrate and shortens their life ?

If you run it at 40% and it makes noise I wouldn't do it. Can you set it at 50 or 60% and just raise the light 10 inches until the plants are ready?

What did HLG say? Even if it's not under warranty you'd be surprised at the lengths they go to to keep customers happy. They're good like that. Give them a try.

That's why I use cheap lights when they have a problem flickering or go out I just chunk them in the trash. It may not be the best thing to do. Maybe using expensive lighting is worth trying.
