High Times Cannabis cup 1st ever USA in Denver Co

US Cannabis Cup Results - SKY HIGH IN DENVER!
For the third year, HIGH TIMES hosted a cannabis event in Denver. But 2013 was different. In the wake of Colorado’s historic passage of an initiative that made adult, recreational use of cannabis legal, HIGH TIMES invited the entire country to the first US Cannabis Cup. In truth, this was the tenth stateside Cup that HIGH TIMES has hosted. But no other event in the magazine’s history has drawn as much support from the cannabis community or as much as interest from the international media.
Well over 10,000 cannabis fans turned out for the biggest event in HIGH TIMES history, two days of seminar, over 200 booths, medication areas for Colorado’s medical community, and a whole lot of free hits for the high-spirited crowd. In addition to dabs and bong hits, attendees were able to sample a stunning array of medically infused treats. Plus there were concerts featuring Slighty Stoopid, Cypress Hill, and a very special Friday night concert where Snoop Lion graciously accepted the Lester Grinspoon Lifetime Achievement Award.
As always, the cannabis is what drew the crowds and stoked the high-flying mood of the crowd. Here are the winners!

thanks for posting results...whats the point of having a US and medical cup seperate? itslike there are 2 different 1st place cups for each section....
also only 10k folks? i thought estimates were up in the 50-80k range
and the shooting is all over news..but that wasnt at the actual cup correct? it was an outdoor show i believe...not sure though.

medc up results are also based on lab testin i believe, cannabis cup results just based on judges? i could be wrong.

Man I wish I could have been there.
stood in line for like 2 hours, not a bad wait, except that i was in line behind THE WORST newyorker ganja broker, talked so damn loud about all his bizness, prices local people he got from..... showin no respect to people around him or the growing scene at all.... fukn tourists... i coulda killed him

the indoor red card only area (shown here) was much less crowdedthan the outdoor "recreating" area, (there was also an outdoor redcard only area). Red card meaning colorado medical patients only. Also, there was an area indoors that was non medicating:

to say the least, altho crowded as hell; it was a good time, dabs were had by all
sickest rig I hit, probably one of the tastiest dabs i took all day, i distinctly remember the dense lemony hit from this guy.... note the e-nail, no flame required

Well karma took care of us....Were true stoners really...always late..a dolla short and never on time...lol...
we didnt make 420 and didnt show till Sunday...but we were hangin with kind folk indeed...
and even tho busines is buis ...brothers are still brothers..and it showed and was felt by all who were around...
highlights for me was watchin BigBuddha burnin my cone..and teh compliment that followed...
And a few pics of other local Co gatherings...was a mind blast to say the least....
I didnt find somethin to knock me down tho...maybe next time...

Almost everybody i have seen was having à great time, and it was THE best cup i have been too.
To explain THE US cup. Part. Of THE cup. It was open to enter by everybody from whole of US, Also non medical etc.

I was one of THE 3 medical indica judges, And can say. That THE 43 entry,s. In my categorie. Where high standard for shure, And THE winner. Shure deserved it. Skywalker OG. 600 cut. Was simpely delicius.

i look at it like this...
if you run a city and the biggest worste problem ur city has is heavy traffic, you are doing pretty good....

Hope the ICmag 420 Cup was also as fun..I looked and it looks as choice!....wow you guys have allot of herb!..overall I think we made the whole planet stink proper for a good day yall...stay kewl and always keep rollin!
