how often do you need to water? having a plant with an underdeveloped rootmass for the size pot it's in will prevent it from taking off at stretch. there is a plant in my room that got .5gal of extra coco and even though it was the same size at flip.. its only a 15g plant vs. the others 60gs+.

i think it's a matter of depriving the plants of that dry out period needed to have them fill their pots with roots. which again is hard to do when all the plants aren't growing the same...

"Dialage is everything", eh? :)

Nor am I any sort of expert just yet... But like whatthe215 said; Your canopy is thin. I guess You have to add a week-10 days veg if you keep thesame setup for the next run.

Another thing I notice is that you have utterly big containers for such small plants. I would, at least, reconcider them before next run.

Well, thats another "fookers" 0.02$ (you should think about your language..)

Best of luck!

And here's a couple shots of where i veg. I always have a problem with vegging to many plants and taking too many clones. Oh well my friends love free clones(little trees), and in not long it will be nice outside.

:tiphat:frank....,You definately have your cloning game under control.. pics...great skill to have when you wanna fill out multileveled racks.

otoh, agree with all the last comments...either more training to finish up with bigger plants ..or lotsa small ones flipped on week veg..

You ever considered a sog..?looks like it would do well in your grow area ..and as for clones i dont see any shortage looking at your pics:good:

I had to overgrow my space a couple times and deal with a bunch of larf, which was a pain in the aas. My last run I under vegged and it was even more frustrating to go the 9-10 Weeks and harvest less than I am used to. Its all about dialage and finding the perfect size before flipping, which is even more difficult in your perpetual situation. You definitely are not short on clones. You should pick one and monocrop ftw.

Thanks a lot everybody!!!!!!!!! That's what I like to hear lots of good constructive criticism. Anyways the little black dishes are 3/4 gal. The brown ones on the wall hold about a gallon. I think during the next reset I'm gonna build the upper tier better with drainage/ water collection so that I can use slightly bigger containers or put more of the black ones closer together, and have them filled to the top. I'm also considering starting to mono crop each tier. I have a strain(hso chemdawg) that likes to stretch so I'm thinking of using that on the bottom. The deadhead is looking good on the second tier I think I just need to get them a little bigger even with increased numbers, the exodus kush is whatever I want it to be a grower or bush depending on if I pinch her a little or not. The dinachem is looking like it can be a bushy stretcher so that's good all the way around. Sorry guys got on a little rant.
I do love to clone and I usually have pretty good success rates. Right now I'm getting my army ready for outside.I do have a problem though,I love to start seeds and try new strains. I'm gonna try and keep it under ten for inside. Outdoors is another story though,I can never have too many strains. Thanks for your input and I'll try to get some more pics up soon......

Deadheads, and four exodus kush , and hso chem just hitting seven weeks, got two exodus in week 8 too. I also have an Acid s1 plant that is moving along nicely. 3 days shy of eight weeks, and she didn't inherit the hermie trait from her mother-worth growing again.:biggrin:

Here's some shot's of my acid s1. It's really starting to stink now. It smells like rotton garbage, mixed with grapefruit. Still not a single nanner on it either!!!!!! I'm so glad i cloned it before i threw it in the flower room. The way it looks now, i can imagine at least half of my room full of it.

Update: Started to pick some of my first vert run. I have to say that i'm extremely happy with the way the plants look. Now that i have a run under my belt, and i learned to to control my canopy, things are only gonna get better. A major factor this time that helped was the temps. I never had a swing of more than 15 degrees from lights off/on temps. Thanks to everyone down here in vertville for your help. I'm gonna try and snap some pics tonight. Now off to the clone factory...ah hahahahaha..

Here's some pics of what's coming down. I still have my three biggest plants to pick. Plus i have four exodus kush's that are going for another week. This is the big half of the room for now. I wanna try and get both of my batches the same size, so my monthly harvest stay's the same. The drying line your seeing is about eight feet long for reference.

Ok. so got the numbers from the first half of the room. So far i pulled 180 grams from half of my set-up. I still have 5 plants to pull, that count for this batch too. So 44 more grams to hit a half, and i have 5 nice plants to do it with. I'm pretty sure i'm gonna hit that number just with my acid s1 plant(i still gotta name it). So in theory i'm gonna be pulling a pound every two month period. That works out to .448 grams per watt. I have lots of room for improvement. At my last grow it took a year to get things perfected, but i did eventually. Anyways i reset the part of my room i picked, gotta keep the purpetual machine jamming. I also just got my removeable wall on hinges. So I added an extra plant. Not having to take the wall down to get at my girls is gonna make things alot easier. The best part is it swings closed on it's own, so no leaving it open when im ripped and working and losing light that could be falling on plants.
Anyway here's some pics of what it looks like now. Almost forgot, pics three and four are dinafem's dinachem, and the last pic is exodus kush

Numbers are in for my first successful vert grow. 248 grams. So just over a half a lb. That was from a little more than half of my room. There was like 19 plants. I wanna try and get it so each half of my room is the same amount of plants. This way harvests will be more even. Instead of a huge one, then a month later, a small, one then another month to ait for a huge harvest. I wanna try and have 15 plants per harvest. Just got a drip system too. super excited about that. So now maybe i can actually have a day off every week, instead of seven day work weeks since last spring. Once i get the drip system up i will take some pics.
On a side note, now that i hit my goal of a half lb., there is still major room for improvement. I wanna be able to pull at least a pound every harvest. It's a nice goal for me in this room. I have a friend who is a die-hard sea of green grower. You should have seen the look on his face when i told him i just pulled a half pound from the amount of plants, that would be one lonely little row in his table.( he wouldnt even come close to that) The best part is he veg's the same amount of time as me and sometimes even longer. I told him vert is the way to go!!!!!!!

Here's some shots of the room since i reset it a couple weeks ago. The palnts that are farther along are six weeks in. It's working out good for me now because i have mostly eight week strains and my exodus goes almost ten. So as long as i keep re-planting on schedule i will harvest a couple plants in two weeks, then a couple more in another two weeks. Then after two more weeks, i harvest a big batch. I wanted to get the halves of my room to the same number of plants, so harvest's would be more equally sized. Now though i kinda like harvesting every two weeks, gives me a little head smoke in between the bigger batches. I really wanted to leave empty spaces for a couple weeks so my small half would be bigger, but i just cant let there be open spots with no plants. I know it gives me the chance to spread some of them out a little, but when i think about it all i can think is jesus by the time these are done i could have had a couple girls two weeks into flower.
I'm telling you guys what though, as soon as i can afford to make my mother room into the flop of a flip-flop, it's going down. I'll have flip-flop's flipping flip -flops flipping flip-flops. Not really though i just wanted to say that, but seriously i am gonna have a flip room. It just makes too much sense, to not do it. Well anyway here they are. Sorry for the shitty yellow pics. Oh and the last pic is of my mkage. i can't wait to see what it turns out like.

Here's some more. i need a better camera so you guys can see the crystal coverage on my dinachem's. The shit is so frosty the small sucker leaves are coated top and bottom with crystals. The buds are just starting to fatten up and getting the silver shiny look on the nodes from the trich's. I don't give a shit who hate's on me, but the dinachem i have is one of if not the most crystal covered strain i have grown. Lot's of strains i have grown get super crystally, but this one takes the cake!!! The pics of the little bushes are my exodus kush's, i love that strain, smells like cheese, but with the sourness rank of the og, and it taste's divine!!!

Heya!
Im happy to hear that you are satisfied with your harvest!

Those pics looks nice! :)

What about larf from the harvest? I see that you left like all suckers in there? Is that a result of the vegtime? And did they even go as larf?

And, I see you use some sort of... hmm... plastic strip to train your ladies.
Im using a 1,3mm plastic coated wire. Its just perfect for precision-training the branches, especially when you have that tight net behind them. Try it out and see how you like it! Maybe its me that should change to those plastic strips.. LOL :D

I really like the mid-pic in your last post! Friggin nice!

Keep dialing. That will be a great grow when dialed in perfect!! ;)

Thanks man. The gray netting is flexible and comes on a roll. I had to put it up mid cycle last time and did it alone. the plants on the bottom row get the bottoms and inside's cleanned. On the top row the only thing that get's taken are branches that cant be tied back and block the plant. I only had like two grams of larf this last run. Which i think i pretty good for a half pound harvest. I have nine strains going right now. Once i figure out what strains can be grown side by side, and which level to put certain strains on, i don't think we'll be able to see the walls at all. I used to do the same things with my tables. The pick you like is two exodus kush's. The pheno i have of this strain is a for sure keeper. The smoke is really killer, it yields real good, and the smell is my favorite of almost any of the 50+ strains i've grown. I'm putting alot of it outside for sure.

Grow cancelled due to my partner being a giant little bitch. Sorry guys. I still have all my genetics and $1000 worth of "store bought" seeds. I took most of my mothers to my outdoor spot, and now i have about 90 plants to play with outside. Looking for a new indoor spot now.
I was basically used for my exceptional grow skills and investment money. The guy had never seen a good grow until he met me. So i left him with what was his- nothing!!!!!!!! Which isnt wrong on my part since i spent $300 plus to insulate his garage, and $300 to run power to it, money which i will never see. The best part is i split last years outdoor harvest with him, after i did all the work while they grew and flowered. Then i trimmed most of the 10+ pounds myself. He was only in it to make free money off me and i see that now. Lesson learned.
