Quoted for truth. Yeah that..what he said. ^^^^^^^You have broad mites. You have a war on your hands now. You need a 30x to 100x scope to see them.
Go read the Broad Mite sticky thread. You can order Avid, Forbid and Pylon and fight it with chemicals. You can also start heat treating them by getting your room up to 120 degrees for several hours.
Then there is ogbiowar foliar treatment.
Go read the thread. I directed you in the right direction.
Good luck. They can be defeated. But you must follow the methods described in the thread.
Growers on the internet are so quick to reach for dangerous chemicals to treat mites on their plants. These chemicals are not meant for food crops so please don't take this situation as a light one. You cannot flush these chemicals out of the plant with anything.
The warning label for Avid is located here:
http://www.syngentaprofessionalproducts.com/pdf/labels/SCP896AL6A0904.pdf
It clearly states: "For control of leafminers and mites and suppression of aphids, whiteflies, and thrips on ornamental plants."
Here is the warning label for Forbid:
http://www.guysinpurple.com/documents/label_forbid.pdf
It also clearly states:
"Ornamental Insecticide/Miticide"
I'm not sure about the Pylon so you should research that. If you are comfortable smoking those harmful chemicals then that is your right but if the buds from these plants are going to be giving to other people, you should let them know that it was treated with dangerous pesticides so they can also make the decision to smoke or not. Some of the people in this thread is actually surprising to me that they use these types of chemicals. Now I remember why I only smoke my own flowers now.
Thanks for the replies. So I guess the consensus is in and I have started to look at my options to treat BM. Leaning towards the Avid/Forbid/Pylon route but will need to read more to make an informed decision, such as whether Kontos would be worth the $$$.

That's a pretty fucked up story. A few years back it was reccomended to me from growers on this site to use Floramite and I did. I was spraying in my boxers with no mask or anything. I got pretty sick from it and did a lot more research and stopped using these types of chemicals. I will say that those chemicals made it very easy to get rid of the mites with just a couple of treatments but now I'm back to 100% Neem Oil and Coco Wet to go with it. It's more of a pain in the ass to have to treat every 3 days but it's worth it in the end. If you keep your grow clean and don't wear outside clothes in the room while keeping a mop and bleach around the grow, mites will find it hard to get into your rooms. It's funny how people make it normal to use chemicals like this and it makes a lot of growers use them with no protection and it's just thrown out there so loosely like it's no big deal.I used to work at a grow facility for a co shop. The "grower" was always quick to spray avid, e20, whatever instead of actually fixing the situation at its core. I refused to spray or be around when the chemical warfare was taking place. They had no safety gear and never took my advice not to breath in the mist, get it on your skin, etc.
So i go to work on day, they had sprayed avid the day before. I walk in and see the grower, his face was swollen up like a fucking chipmunk, bright red, so bad his eyes were almost swollen shut. He ended up going to the hospital(with the bottle of avid) where they had no clue how to deal with such a situation. They gave him a bunch of prescriptions and it took damn near a week for swelling to go away. Dont fuck around with these chemicals!

Did you 40x loupe the leaves to check to see exactly what kinda critter you have.
I wiped out my thrips for example by using 10ml bleach/1L water, mist heavily, and dropped my nighttime temps down to 58-60'F. Within a week no more thrips...been a yr so I am pretty sure they are gone..
Now the Spidermites that found their way in...they are a proving to be a challenge.
