I should have named this thread, "Picking Snype's Brain" . I've got two questions for you.
When you flip to your 12/12 cycle, do you do it over the span of a few days (decrease light by 1 hour each day), or put the plants straight to 12/12? I'm unsure of whether going straight to 12/12 will create any stress on the plants, reducing growth for a few days?
I have one guy in soil that I like to experiment on, except I'm having trouble recovering him this time. I added some bennies, and nutrient solution when watering him about a week ago. Got the typical signs of burning the next day, so I flushed the soil with 2.5X the volume of the pot and let it drain out the bottom (used ph corrected to 6.5, no nutes). I'm still getting yellowing at the tips that is slowly working its way into the leaf. All the lesions/dead spots on the leafs are from the original burning, no new sites have appeared. I've never had issues with flushing before, so I'm at a bit of a stand still. Did I flush too much and should add some nutes back, or did I somehow manage to flush too little? Or since its not recovering completely from the flush, are the bennies I added to the soil causing the issue? Much appreciated!
