This year I have seeds that I kept from last year's somewhat poorly grown, late planted outdoor crop. Two of them were flowering quite early alongside a Danish Gold male who was particularly copious in his pollen and very stinky. The Guerilla Gold 3 had a nice skunky scent, and was very glittery. The Jamil Sayeeda had pink and purple hairs and purple shading on the leaves. She smelled a little of sweet inscence and seemed to be very bug and mold resistant.
The plot I have returned to for stealth reasons is made up of a loamy hardwood forest floor raspberry filled patch of sunshine. It is rich soil and moistened as it lies on the edge of a swamp. I read that rasberries and blackberries need ample calcium to grow so I ripped them out and placed my seedlings in the soil. you can literally dig a hole with your hand. My plants last year had a rough start to life and were small and deficient already as I put them out. They rebounded well considering but there is room to improve. This years Seedlings were much better when they were put out, vegged 4 weeks under 250 w plantmax mh conversion instead of t5s in different mix. The summer has come strangely early this year so I was able to put them out about 2 weeks before we normally would in this area. They were planted outdoors on May 26th at 44N.
A second plot is in full sun, in the swamp in 3 gallon pots filled with miracle grow organic potting mix. This plot was also planted May 26. There are now four females at this plot.
I have a total of 24 started and yanked one today from the bush plot, a male gg3xdg. I have one female gg3x dg as well confirmed. Yet to visit the others to see if any have shown yet.
Hope to see what these crosses do this year with a bit better treatment and some nutes to get them going. So far so good, todays check showed them about 2' tall and in good robust condition.
Lets see what happens in this wanna be viking gardener's hands.
