I PM'd Gry and asked how he is doing. I will respect his privacy and not copy his response here, but he is doing much better with the machine, and expresses his peace of mind, knowing he has available to him the life giving O2 he needs.
Why didn't the MIC have him on O2 already? Who knows, who cares. This community pulled through. BTW, He got his machine on 4-20.

This truly is an awesome community.
What I had been able to share with flylowgethigh, was that the effect of going from a shortage of oxygen to having the machine, had an effect that was overwhelming emotionally.
I don't think anything could have prepared me for the emotional impact.
It is very difficult to even describe reduced lung function as it takes place slowly.
Just the opposite is true once oxygen was available, the difference is so profound,
and it happened so quickly, and the improvement felt so massive.
It had a duel effect, it allowed me to feel an instant improvement, but also demonstrated
to me how degraded my lung function had become.
I had not even realized, over the years, to what an extent I had reduced speaking
too others because it took too much oxygen and energy.
I was and am still in a state of awe at what a difference an abundance of
oxygen makes after becoming accustomed to living with reduced capacity.
The nausea has not changed at all, but the difference of not feeling oxygen
starved all the time has been better than I ever expected.
