Hello,

The growth was expected since they are Sat Dom plants. But for future growths I'll start them with 10/14 light cycle to help avoid it.

looks great ojo bro!

hows that LED working out for ya?

cheers,
red.

Hello Red!

Usually I use LEDs only for Moms and clones... For that they are great.

This is the first day I place the unit laterally so we'll see.

It will help, no doubt, middle section and buds.

Hello,

Today was watering as usual... only change was adding Potassium @ 400ppm/6ph.

So far LED unit is working nice, wish I had two so didn't have to move it from side to side on daily basis.

Buds are really picking up, what a blessing!

Hello,

I have stopped feeding and just follow regular watering schedules (plain water, 6ph).

Buds keep developing nicely:

Hello,

Today I applied some foliar feeding:

12-60-0 (400ppm/7ph) and Potassium (400ppm/7ph).

Reason being is the very limited amount of soil available to each plant and a window of opportunity (before buds get too dense).

I wish to give these plants a long and nice "flush" before harvesting but at the same time desire maximum bud development.

My desire is a clean burning cannabis that leaves white ashes.

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated folks!

:)

Hello,

Things are slowly moving along. Pretty much following the light feeding routine explained earlier. Playing it by ear and by what the girls tell me.

No more foliar feeding from this point on.

Change is the only constant...

I've decided to use a hybrid vertical light arrangement for the rest of flowering.

Plants are kept upright against the reflective wall via fishing line.

This will take care of two issues: Cola's ability to remain "erect" LOL... and development of lower bud sites.

It should be interesting to watch.

Hello,

Today was time to water (plain, ph adjusted) and other mundane things is the garden.

One good thing I noticed is that my pots only require 2 cups of water. I pre measure the water and then apply it without worries of overfill and the mess that goes along.

And for all your bud porn addicts out there... Something barely legal... LOL

A taste of things to come!

I have vaporized some green buds... nice to taste all that goes away during curing... it hits HARD.

Once again, thank you for your attention

Hello friends,

The new light setup seems to be working quite well. Hot air moves straight up (also thanks to the floor fan) and added light penetration is helping mid and low level bud development.

I have kept watering plants with plain water (6ph) but might include some Cal/Mag if rusty spots develop further on some older fan leafs. So far I am just waiting for leafs to be a tad lighter since Cal/Mag (mine) has some Nitrogen added.

Here some pictures:

What stops you from taking a few clones and going into the jungle with a GPS (to find them again) and planting a few here and a few there? I would think with that climate you could really get some nice plants.
I was just in Puerto Viejo and the locals said that the columbian weed was replaced with Jamaican which was much better @ the same cost.

Hello Folks,

I've kept watering plants with just plain water (6ph); always trying to wait until media is dry enough.

Some leafs have started to yellow so I'd guess we are in the last part of flowering. How much longer only trich color will tell.

I am including a pic from one of the ladies so you have an idea.

Thank you so much

Hello Friends,

Today I indulged in some early bud sampling. Simply put, I harvested three buds I found appealing then baked them at 200F for about 45 minutes.

Pics are from "baked" buds.

Results are far from a mature well cured bud but effects are surely appreciated by my starving brain...

Ummmmmmm... niice...

Ground control to Major Tom...!?!?!

LOL

Thanks again for stopping by.

Dear friends,

I was lucky enough to get a rather nasty case of real flu.

During the last few days I've been barely able to tend to the plants... body ache and fever with chills makes getting out of bed a real chore.

Hopefully I'll be able to give you fine folks a nice update by next Monday.

So you little peepers and lurkes can get your fill!

Best,

Ojo
