Since its raining like shit right now, im in the mood to write a minute growguide thats ment for people wanting to grow guerrilla in Finland.
Find or make an open spot in some clearcut (hakkuu aukea) preferably next to a ditch that still holds some water. (hint:Look google earth to get a first impression, allthough picture quality of Finnish clearcuts might not be that great)
Look for the kind of clearcut that has up to 4 mtr tall trees in it: The sun will still shine over the tree tops but you and your crop will still be hidden out of sight.
Bring lots of good soil, the more the better.
Anyting between 250 liter and a cub suits the job, depending on your expectation.
(bringing 500 liter in your backpack is a one nights job if you spread it out in bagged up portions of 15 to 30 kg , meaning you ll have to carry up and down 34 or 17 times.
500 liter will still fit in the car if youre willing to use the back seats too
Make a dome shaped hill that resembles a shallow volcano. >meaning, give it some raised edges so water poured on wont be immediatly running off.
Make sure the suface of this hill is smooth and level so it will spread the water poured or rained on evenly.
Height of hill should be anywhere between 30 and 70 cm and diameter inbetween 1 and 2 meter down at the base circumference.
*Bigger is better! Lazy is less.
Water this hill toroughly on the 13th of may.
Pre germinate plenty of Dieselryder seeds at the 13th of may using the moist cotton methode and place them equally spaced on top of the hill on may 15th, cover it with a thin layer of *topsoil.(7mm)
*applied by shaking a sieve(siivila) over the seeds in wich some soil is added.
from here on, dont worry
Most sprouts will survive initial frost and thrive well afterwards.
If it has rained sometimes, dont water at all, if it hasnt rained and the grow tips turn a lighter coulour as the remaining leafes, water moderatly.
Soil composition is 50% Biolan Musta Multa mixed in with 50% dried brown clay chunks dug up from a ditch.
I use to overwinter 500 liter of this mix in a heated building under plastic in a huge plastic container making sure its been kept moist and fertilized as well.
On 500 liter soil, I add half a liter of chalk to get eventually ph 6.2, 200 gr PK artificial fertilizer (no N at all) 20 litre chicken shit, 8 liter woodash, half jatepussi sheep woll at the bottom, stinging nettle stems and leafes on top as much as there fits and hundreds of live rainworms to compost all of this.
After one year, all this will get an EC reading of 2.0 wich will just not be too strong for the young seedlings to hamper but still hold enough nutrients for mature plants to bud out well.
I myself am mainly improving strains this way by keeping some males alive while aiming for seeded harvests using the survival of the strongest principle.
On a typical hill of 500 to 1000 liter I might easely start off with 300 to 600 seeds per hill in order to eventually end up with only 30 to 60 of the better genetics bearing plants.
Meaning, I cull out all the ones that dont live up to my expectations with great pleasure.
Point is, the whole thing in essence is so totally simple, I made some befriended beginners now do it this way and im always happy to get some pics from them showing me their progress
