Great Lakes region growers: how is your tick season?

I find it fairly light, not many ticks have appeared. We had a cool spring, it never felt springy until June, so I think that ticks, like other insects, really suffered. Bees, mosquitoes, likewise.

Been out in the brush planting about 10 times so far no ticks in NE Ohio to speak of. More afraid of running into a Dogman out there (say what you will they are real) , I go alot at night nothing more frightening than a dogman popping up out of the grass. Ticks i can deal with ha ha . Ok have fun
