Little update. So the plants were taking too damn long to show sex so I switched the lights to 12/12 to speed things up. By the time the plants start showing sex finally I switched the light back to 18/6. Now the plants seem to be flowering pretty hard. I’m hoping they revert back to veg as I haven’t taken any clones off of them yet. How long does it take for them to revert back?

I also built a small greenhouse to hold the clones I got from my buddy as I was running out of room. They were transplanted in 7 gal plastic pots in kings mix. I Put up some string led shop lights and a couple of cfls to keep them going till June. Hope it holds up.

Also I finally got all the posts in for the 20’ by 40’. This was a pain in the ass I had to jack hammer out pretty much every hole and concrete them in as I could only pound them in a few inches before hitting big ass rock. Hoping to get her built before may. At least the frame and cover part.
Don’t know if I’ll have the money to put in the auto black out motors and tarp. Who knows. Time will tell.

Hope everyone is healthy and doing well with this whole virus going on.

Well just made this post to my thread I had last year. Didn’t realize until I all ready posted it. Good to see that some my plants are all ready double the size of what last years plants Finished at.

Some update shots of what’s going on. Get the clones moved onto the deck to make some room in the small hoop house.

Got tired of watering the seed plants every couple of days so I transplanted them from 7 gal pots into some 15’s. Took some of my goats used bedding and top dressed them and watered in some compost tea. They were rootbound as shit so I’m sure they will be much more happy in their new temporary homes.

Making some headway on the 20’ by 40’. Hoop house. Got some of the end walls framed up and hoping to be putting up the rest of the hoops and plastic soon. Hope everyone is doing good!

Happy gardening folks!

Finally got some success cloning. I Use to use the ez cloner before I moved up here to the gold country. Badass roots in a couple of weeks. But last year trying to clone with it I’ve had no success. I am convinced it is the change from city water to my well water. So I went back to the good old trays and humidity domes. My local nursery had these oasis cubes so I thought I’d give them a try.
100% success with these bad boys. Don’t even have to use the humidity dome if you don’t want to.

Well been called back to work full time for the last few weeks and have been fighting to get the outdoor grow going. Being by myself is hard work. Wish I had some helpers but I moved up Here to the sticks and everyone I know have lives so I do what I can do. Got the hoops up and the rest of the gh frame done. Built some more 200/300 gal pots and put a couple in to see what happens. Got half of the clones transplanted. About a week ago I switched the lights to 18/6. After the transplant I’m switching them to outdoor on my porch to 16/8. Giving them morning sun. Next week I will switch them to 14.5 hours light to try and match the sunlight I get naturally. All the rest of my plant I have the light turn on around 7P.m. and shut off at around 8:30. They seem to be In the veg state and happy. Hope to have some more planted next weekend.

Finally got all the clones transplanted this weekend and moved out to the deck where it gets only morning sunlight. Keep the porch light on until 9. Will give them a week the start shutting the light off at 8:30. Hope that will be enough to keep them in veg. Got a few more bigger ones planted in. Crazy weather it rained up here pretty good Saturday. Hope all is well.

Couple of updates. So my neighbors been telling me the local authorities are busting the area pretty hard. Been hitting greenhouses especially. So definitely not going to put a cover on it till it cools down. My plants got hit pretty hard with broad mites so I pulled them all. Being a good neighbor he gifted me with half his garden! We split everything 50/50. Strains are mimosa and grease bucket from symbiotic genetics.

I need to move out of the suburbs, my neighbors can see a 4-5 foot plant in my yard from their back windows. If someone sees a 6 foot plant with fat cola on top in my yard it's going to get ripped by neighbor. Yet others can't even legally grow so I don't have much reason to complain. Just count my blessings, it could be much worse.

Totally jealous of your grow by the way sacramental. Looks like your on the way to couple pound per plant harvest at worst.

Thanks paddi.

Idontknowman,

Yeah I lived in a tiny condo for 8 years in sac before moving up here last may. I feel your pain! With hard work working a regular job 68 hour weeks I was able to purchase my first home. Didn’t know how expensive owning a home would be. If this season doesn’t work out I don’t think I will be able to continue living up here with all these bills piling up. Just gotta keep your head down low and your hopes up high! Thanks for the props!

Everything on cruise control. Got the drip system hooked up a couple of weeks ago. My neighbor let me borrow one of his dositrons and plants are looking super happy.
