First thing i'd like to say is big up to IC mag and the state of california.

PROP 215 yall!!!

And a big shout out to everyone who is holding it down in their neck of the woods. (yall know who you are) Keep fighting the good fight!

Thank you all for the support and information i have gathered in these few months reading everyone elses threads. Years of knowledge can be attained here with a patience, humility, and bit of common sense.
:thank you:

Time to get to the juicy stuff...

Genetics:
Seed popped and vegged since december.

Ak-47: 1 phenotype, 2 Mothers one of which has never been topped and a clone put out in feb for sexing that has surpassed the mother it was clipped from.

Blueberrry: 3 phenotypes, 2 Indica dominant bushes, 3 sativa sisters(one is un-topped 75 internodes high), and one blueberry haze runt with more vigor then all of them. < this is the 3rd pheno expressed in the beans i popped Looks just like the DJ shorts.

Local Cuts:
Blackberrry Kush: Clone

Oddysey Kush: Clone

New York City Diesel: Clone

This grow is being done organically with permaculture principles at work. (I prefer to use the term BIOLOGICALLY) Only 12 plants this year enough to cover 2 rec's of 6 flowering plants each... hoping for 5 per.

I am using aprx 250 gallon of composted grapes and soil from the yard in each hole. A couple handfulls of azomite and epsom salt. Some Bat guano and couple shovel scoops of worm castings. Then once all that is said and done a huge top dressing of mushroom compost straight from the farm and a mulching of palm tree coir. I will fertilize with gauno, castings, sea kelp, nettles, and equisetum and water from my pond etc... and the occasional dead animal and kitchen scraps.

and im currently finishing some clones in 5 gallon pots: airplane wreck, blackberry kush, purple trainwreck, afghoo, blueberry haze, mendo purps, dawg, northern lights.... you know i have some breeding projects going on! all of these are outdoor light dep plants in and out everyday they will finish just in time for the real show.
:dance013:

Thank you everyone!

Nice. The biggest yielding garden I know of from '09 used nothing but oakleaf/horseshit compost mixed with topsoil in huge holes. Way to roll it out on the cheap!

This thread represents a great counterpoint to the big plant/big budget threads... a lot of folks need to see that it can be done BIG without many thousands of investment in bagged or trucked-in soil.

Nice shot from the roof.

nomaad: this was exactly my intention I wanted to show everyeone that everything you need to do anything is right in your backard or neck of the woods. We need to start thinking and acting locally. Rather then getting soil shipped from Eugene or even south carolina for that matter. I'm not how an organic weed farmer can honestly call any of the items they grow "organic" when you dont take into consideration the effort and other biproducts of the industry. So... Oak leaves grape duff mushroom compost and country palm mulch is good enough for me.

Just got my first chopper flyby...White and Blue. i was driving back from a mushroom farm and saw the chopper heading through the canyon towards my house. It did a half circle and buzzed off, but i saw it really doing some seriously low flying including over the farm fields near me. Isn't it a bit early for this kind of non sense?

Nice bushes you got already. Everywhere I turn this year here at IC people have big ass plants. You said you did some breeding? Did you do anything with the Afgoo??

Funny you should ask about the afghoo just took my first hit of finished meds... I hit it with some blueberry pollen and saved an afghoo mother. Found 2 beans and started them about a week ago! I have some of Tom Hills Deep Chunk ( 2 beans also), and some moroc x afghan from gypsy to play with. the afghoo mother will stay as is through out.
