Can anyone recommend a non-edgy African variety? I'm looking for one that doesn't cause a racing heart, increased blood pressure, elevated temperature, or paranoia/anxiety.

Try Ethiopian from ACE. It has a warm balanced and centered up sativa high that is quite pleasant.

Hi yes i think about all northern Africans from Senegal and Casamance to Ethiopia except a few labelled as Black like in Ghana which is probably sourced from Center Congo itself sourced from southern cultivars in the ages.
