I received a couple of tubes of this simpson-type ( ? ) oil and reading the insert ( see pic below ) it says and I quote " Cannabis oil is also an excellent replacement treatment for those looking to get off of the more dangerous and addictive narcotics when trying to relieve serious pain issues ".
Is that blowing smoke? I've got some of the best flowers anywhere and while I do get great benefit from cannabis, excercise, diet, yoga collectively, I find it hard to believe that this oil can act as a "replacement" for percocet/oxycodone.
What say you? Has anyone here used this type of treatment for serious chronic pain and would you mind telling of your experience? Helpful hints? Friendly warnings? Your recommendations considering patient suffers from severe degenerative disc disease cervical spine as well as advanced osteoporosis in lumbar, and is a heart patient so "taking the pain" is not as much of an option as the pain can stress the heart too much, and has been in pain management for several years. Thank you
