on a side note. the night before i got busted i was up several times to smoke weed to get back to sleep(one of my conditions). i remember cleaning the stem to my bong because it had some ash in it and was hard to hit, gong.

when i went back to pack up shit after i got busted, the stem was completely full of burnt ash/unburned weed! the stem should of been next to perfectly clean, fuckers were burning my stash! had to of, because the amount of ash in the stem would of took me a week to accumulate....

Too bad you didn't have a hidden security cam system, would be nice to stick it back in their faces. I'll bet the video would make the news.
I've installed some systems that you'd never know they were there, nice little smoke detector cams with mini DVR units that record on motion sensing. I'm the paranoid "be prepared" type who rides around with a DVR pen running just in case.

Krunchbubble, I highly recommend that you get a good lawyer. The more expensive, the better.
When I had a similar issue happen to me, I went to the phone book, and started calling lawyers. They will generally consult with you for free. And will tell you whether or not they think you have a case(Get several consultaions as each lawyer has a different approach, or different things they look for). A good lawyer will go over the police report with you, AND MARK MY WORDS, they will probably find a mistake the cops made during the initial stop. If the search was unconstitutional--and believe it or not IT PROBABLY WAS--then ALL of the evidence --like the mushrooms-- is thrown out!

Here are some examples where cops ROUTINELY violate peoples constitutional rights while involved in a stop:

-- Cops coerce people into allowing them to be searched

Example: the cop that got me said, "will I find anything on you? I said, "No" then he continued to search me. (That's what got me off: the evidence he found on me during the illegal search became inadmissable)

The law states very clearly that the police officer can't intimidating you into allowing them to search you.

Example: "I'll just get a search warrant if you don't let me search your car"
This is illegal and unconstitutional! Illegal search!


---Also, I'm pretty sure that cops can't open any packages/duffle bags ect. without getting a search warrant first.

I read a case where some guy got arrested for stealing from a store. What happened was that he stole something in a store, and stashed it in a duffle bag in his car. Security had called the police, the police showed up, searched the car and found the merchandise in the bag. The case ended up getting thrown out because the evidence had been collected illegally. He hadn't said that they could search the bag!


Anyway kruchbubble, all this info should be considered speculation. I hope it helps give you confidence, though, or at least something to research further for yourself. It is CERTAINLY not an open and shut case!.

It was a great reminder of the caution that needs to take place. I shared your story with my wife and she want's me to retain an attorney now! I follow the the vague California Law and have a nonprofit but I don't think it's good enough. Without reading the whole thread over again could you please repost the name of the attorney in the bay. I thought you mentioned Bora. Anyhow I know I don't know you on a personal level but the information you share speaks gravely of the kind of human you are and if I can help in anyway just PM me. Officers of the law? Right! They don't know the law as well as you think they do!
Their job is just to go out there and bring you in. Herd people into the system as fast as it can handle them. "Prove your innocence before the judge"

This should be a wake up call to a lot of people just floating along. It's just a numbers game to the system. They are not sorry they've just turned your life upside down. It's not personal, It's business. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A GOOD LAWYER

the attorneys that gets the shit done is Omar Figueroa and James Clark. my attorney works right along side Omar.

i had Omar one time, cost $12k just to retain him, he did a great job. to retain him without a case is $420, someone said in this thread....

just got my friend, all charges dismissed from a 50 lighter. actually, its was one of my old warehouses. after mine went down, he decided to grab it, the landlord was very suspicious after i left and became really nosy.....

he got another friend of mine off with a 16 lighter, he had drugs and a gun, all charges dropped, not sure why.....

and i know of 4 other people who completely got off using him...

Or is he an office juniour I have had cases wrecked by office juniors,, They normally get brought into last day of court so you can tell them they did crap work trying to get on the piss early,, seriously I had a girl loose not write down extreemly important information I'd spent weeks telling her to take notes as I dictated, but I am a genius so I solved the problem,, just put your hand up in the stand tell the prosecuter to shut up!! sit down.. I listened to you all week your boring us,, I have some info to tell the judge.. ask for a break goin his chambers and tell him your case is bent because your legal cleark is SHIT!!
