Here a picture from the last week, a northern german national dish, you only eat it at autum/wintertimes, after the first freeze. A lot of northerngermans make Gruenkohlwanderung. What means you and a lot of friends meet at one point and wander 1-2 hours in the cold. On the way you drink some Schnaps/booze, than you enter the restaurant, where other groups are sitting, drinking and eating Gruenkohl(kale,colewort).
Kids are laughing about the name, in my area it´s also called Kohl und Pinkel. Pinkeln means peeing, it´s the corny wurst on the left side. But Pinkel and pinkeln are different things.
